Smitty’s

I have been going to the St Albert Smity’s for the last 3 years. I have met a lot of friends and I’ve always been more accomodating with every visit. I have a special table and have never had to order as i know what i like and order all the time. I am sad the outlet is closing but will earnestly wait for the new location. I have never had a bad experience.

I recently visiting the Smitty’s lounge for the first time in about a decade. Was the room always this small? Maybe I’m just remembering it wrong.
This space is in desperate need of a facelift — but it serves it’s purpose. A few tables, a couple of stools at the bar, and a few VLTs.
I’m not going to lie — we were looking for somewhere to have some cheap drinks and a quick bite to eat before a show at the arden — and my memory brought us here. It delivered what we needed. The day that we were there, their special was half price appetizers and half price glasses of wine. That brought the wine to… are you ready… $ 2.50 a glass!
I bet you didn’t know I was so classy, eh? yep.
Between the two of us, we had 6 glasses of wine and an order of wings… and our total was $ 18. I would go out more often if my tab was like that!
I had to knock off a star because of service and atmosphere. Normally that would be worth 2 stars, but the wings were incredibly tasty and the wine went down smooth.

I like to try the different skillets that they offer. Today I had the meat lovers. It was a little heavy however it arrived fast, fresh and hot. I enjoy coming to this restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. My only negative is that they don’t have any value breakfast specials. Their meals are not cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I would probably come more often if they had a lower priced breakfast special. That said this is still my favourite place for breakfast.

I’m a fan of breakfast, so I love Smitty’s all-​day breakfast. It’s pricier, but at least the hash browns are better than Socrates nearby which is famous for breakfast.
