Royal used to be good. Now it’s not. Seriously, Tzatziki sauce on a donair pizza? PA-YUKE! Never again. Over priced and poor pizza. PUKE!

Had pizza twice here and would not order it from there ever again. My only complaint is that they hardly put any friggin toppings on. The pizza isn’t cheap either. I would rather have panago.

First time ordering. Called and asked if they delivered to the Garrison(which they do) because Goggle said it was the closest to us. Unfortunately because they were so busy — the young lady gave me a delivery time of 90 minutes! It was explained cause they were in fact very busy and wants to give ample time for the delivery guy, in case he didn’t know the area. We didn’t care — followed raves from both Unilocal and other members on the base and so we could wait. Pizza arrived in 1 hr 43 minutes and was still surprisingly hot. The pizza reminded the family of an old pizza joint back home, where toppings are stacked high and the cheese is on top! Pizza was worth the wait — HOWEVER … delivery time needs to be addressed and $ 60 for two pizza’s ??

Ordered delivery twice now. Lasagna both times. The first time I had no sauce on it. It was just gross noodles. The second time it was all sauce an cheese, no pasta. I do enjoy the wings but honestly, wings aren’t rocket science. Meh

The food here is really good! And I love the«non-fussy» atmosphere, its a nice place to spend a Friday night. Everything on the menu is really delicious. Although, the service can be a little slow at time. But overall its pretty good value for money.

I have been on a search for the best burger and the best pizza. I was introduced to Royal Pizza in December 2011. Two things are the basis of a good pizza, the crust and the sauce. Toppings are individual but if the first two are bad then the pizza will be bad. Royal Pizza is in my top 5 and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my lifetime. My favourite is pepperoni and pineapple. I drive from NW Edmonton to St. Albert to get takeout(it’s the closest). I love this pizza and highly recommend it to all.

So don’t get me wrong, but Royal Pizza has the best pizza ever. We used to order it constantly from their old location, but it closed a while back. We were extatic that it re-opened. The first time we ordered from the new location, we found a hair in the pizza. Then of course gave them a second chance… our order was completely wrong and the pizza was falling apart and in peices. The manager was so great and very helpful, thoughtful and apologetic. He told us that we would get a free pizza next time we order. We though, hey sure that sounds great. So we orderd for the third time, they looked us up to see what our deal was, and magically it changed to only 20% off our next pizza. We ended our St. Albert Royal Pizza relationship there. :(

YUM! Pizza is big competition in this suburb and so far I have to say that Royal Pizza is a clear winner in my books. I’ve heard good things about the local(Edmonton) chain in the past but hadn’t tried it. My soy allergy prevents me from enjoying many of the chain pizzas and so far several of the locals I’ve tried. Hoping for a positive change but still wanting to satisfy my craving, I took a chance. The entire experience was great. They have a good selection of toppings, the price is reasonable, the delivery time as promised(about half an hour). I ordered a 10″(med) lean beef and mushroom pizza. The crust was golden and cooked to perfection, the cheese had a baked appearance and the beef was certainly ground — no globs of burnt stuff like some I’ve had. The sauce had the right amount of tang and the mushrooms just the right compliment. I think I may have finally found a favourite pizza place to order from in St. Albert. Thank you, Royal Pizza.
