Wonderland Valley Resort is your best choice for rustic and natural camping in Squamish. Located at the north edge of town we offer 50 serviced and un-​serviced campsites. We also have five gorgeous hotel rooms for you «glampers» out there!

Go to sleep in your tent listening to Dryden Creek run in the background. Relax by a campfire and admire the stars. Hike through the rainforest on the famous «Wonderland» trail which starts on our property. Our staff are also mountain bikers and familiar with the vast and world famous mountain bike trails.

You can also have nearly 15 different kinds of food delivered to your campsite!

The campsite and hotel are within 10 minutes of three lakes and 20 minutes from the new Sea to Sky Gondola. Its the perfect place to base your next Squamish adventure!

History

Established in 2014.

The campsite and hotel were build in the early 90’s. Craig and Courtney took it over in April 2014 and have been steadily injecting the resort with a huge amount of good vibes, color and fun.

We wanted to own the campground we wish we could stay at. As avid RV travelers ourselves we tired of the grim looking RV parks that you encounter on the road. We don’t want a parking spot. We wanted a unique camping experience. That is what Wonderland is all about. We wanted to create a place for travelers far and wide to camp and hopefully meet and interact.

Think of it as part youth hostel, part sportsman’s paradise and part summer camp. Your inner child is going to have a great stay with us. See you soon!

Meet the Business Owner

Craig D.

Business Owner

Craig has travelled extensively throughout the globe and started «on the road» when we was 19.

He is a passionate entrepreneur and community activist, recently organizing a TEDx in Squamish in 2013 that was largely focused on the radical shift that Squamish has gone through in the past decade. Little did he know that that theme would apply to his own life a few short months later when the chance to purchase the campground came along.

HIs family has a long history in the promotional products industry and he is still active in the management of Ultimate Promotions Ltd with his wife Courtney. Craig was happy to change gears in his career and spend less time in front of a computer and more time being outside. The camp lifestyle suits him quite nicely!

Squamish is the perfect place for Craig to work his mind, body and soul. An avid mountain biker, boater, DJ and event planner, there is no doubt that something fun, interesting and unique will be going on at Wonderland.
