Our hosts, Eve & John, were just dolls. Eve greeted us at the front yard with hands full of produce from her garden, and little Lucy, her dachshund ran to meet us. It was like greeting an old friend. The rooms are lovely and we were the only guests that night. Breakfast is served with homemade jam, homegrown fruits and veggies, and her home baked pastry. I was up early and sat on the front porch where John brought me coffee and a shawl for my shoulders. Better than staying at mom’s! We explored the beautiful grounds and met Gertrude the goat who likes her ears scratched. Such a lovely start to our vacation!

This is a great place. I only overnighted here but the owner was very friendly and the place was very nice. We rented two rooms at a very reasonable «off season» price. Nice set up, lots of space in the suites.
