Cedarwood Inn & Suites

The location of this hotel is fabulous! The staff were friendly and although it was older and out of date, it suited our family just fine. Room was equipped with full size kitchenette, fridge, stove whuch we did nit use but the toadter came in handy for toast in the morning.

We came up from WA state for a friend’s wedding and stayed here over the weekend. Super close to the ferry and reasonably priced. The lady that checked us in seemed greatly annoyed that we tried to check in early even though we were encouraged to do so when we called to confirm the reservation only a day earlier. She also wasn’t too keen on giving us brief directions to the nearest street with cafes so we could bide our time for a while. Not sure what she expects from tourists who naturally don’t know the area. Other than that, our stay was nice. The room as clean. Standard inn stuff. Would probably come back.

Planning ahead does not help when making reservations at this hotel. My reservations were made seven months in advance. I fell for the false advertising of «waterfront lodgings». After paying full price for a standard room with a queen bed we were given a dark, closet like room with a view, out the only window, of the parking lot. The room, being clad in dark wood walls and ceilings, felt like a closet. The blanket on the bed was too small for the bed and came to our waists when fully pulled up. The wall molding at the floor, near the bathroom was falling off the wall. There was a coffee maker with a filter but, no coffee. There was no microwave. When we returned our keys at checkout, the woman behind the counter said thank you but, did not inquire about our stay. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Fantastic location. Lovely walking path just across the street on the waterfront. Kids enjoyed the playground across the street as well. Short walk or quick drive to nice restaurants (try green wasabi Japanese on fourth st.). Rooms were clean and spacious.

Great location, close to the airport, marina and right by the water. We stayed at one of their cottages and it was wonderful. Very clean, nice and cool in the summer. 2 TVs, full kitchen, lots of water pressure for the shower. The staff was friendly, I arrived a little before 11pm and they had the key ready for me. Definitely recommend this place to others. The king size bed was awesome. Free wifi and its fast too.
