This is the disneyland of Liquor stores. Huge selection! My fiancée likes a specific brand of vodka that he fell in love with in Ukraine. It’s very hard to find, but they have it here! The selection is second to none. The only thing I was surprised at was the lack of mixes– I was making a christmas gift with a martini shaker, glasses, & vodka and wanted martini mix to go with it. No dice! However, the selection is so awesome that we will come back and make a trip elsewhere for the mix.

Selection is pretty mind boggling what wasn’t was being asked 8 times if I needed help. Also a few times they were extremely biased based on my look on different days(lazy or professional) I would be hounded for my I.d.. I get it I’m 2nd young looking but I don’t need to be asked by all of your floor staff for my I.d. when they do it at the checkout. I do like the consistency at the checkout for an id though. Also they will order in any thing you don’t fine but fat chance of that happening ahahaha.

The whisky tasting bar at wine and beyond is out of this world. For pennies on the dollar you get to sample some really rare or old scotch. My wife took me here for our anniversary and bought me a half oz of the auchentoshan 1957, 50 year old scotch. This review is not of the scotch but rather over the fact that I got to try a $ 4000 bottle of scotch for $ 50 bucks. The value for your money is amazing. The staff that hover around the tasting bar are extremely knowledgable about what they are pouring and are not afraid to engage you about products while making recommendations. So even if you never plan on buying expensive scotch. This is a great place to come and try it.

I just can’t say enough about this place. Me and the fiancé were looking into wine and we had nooo clue what we were looking for. Then we were asked if we were finding everything that we were looking for. We answered back no aren’t too sure. We were looking to get into drinking exploring the world of wine. She told us that she is not an expert in wines but she is gunna go look for one the people that are. We were introduced to one of the employees(I can’t remember his name.) he gave us a HUGE education trip. Which felt soo nice we walked out feeling a lot more confident and not so over whelmed with the amounts of wine that they had there. I am super excited to say the experience there is well worth going back for. I am excited to going back and getting a couple«Growlers» for Christmas presents that’s a GREAT idea. They definitely take care of their customers. Side note: I can’t put a price range on this one because the prices range from 10 $ to $ 500.(I think that was the most expensive wine I saw in there)

This is a great wine & more store. Not only do they have a great selection, but they offer free tastings, samples and more. The people who work there seem to be quite knowledgeable about their products, or willing to find someone who is. And not just wine! check out their«Growlers» it is a glass jug that you can fill and refill with their craft beers.

This is a newly opened ultra deluxe wine and beverage store in the Emerald Centre in Sherwood Park(next to the new northside Walmart). The place is huge and will cater to the well heeled individual looking for a special bottle of wine $$$$ as well as the regular folk, like me, who are just looking for something just a little different, but will not break the bank $$. In addition to wines there is a large selection of beers and hard liquor. They even have a booth set up for wine and draft beer tasting(which you can buy and take home). I was even impressed by the selection of wine corkers. They also have a gifts section, which adds another dimension to a liquor store. The gifts include accessories, decorations and wrappings for gift bottles. Yes you could spend a lot of time browsing in this store! I’m just waiting for the valet parking to come next ;).
