Cheap. Bulk. Liquor. Need I say more? Kirkland brand makes some quality spirits. Many big labels in big bottles at good prices!

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Costco! I do wish that Costco had the extensive wine selection in Canada that they do in the states but I am oh so happy that we now have Costco liquor stores in Canada! Sherwood Park was our first location to get a liquor store in the greater Edmonton area but now we also have them in St. Albert and Edmonton. The selection isn’t huge but it is varied from $ 8 bottles of wine up to a couple hundred dollars. I love giving the GIANT and I mean giant bottles of Kirkland Signature alcohol as Christmas presents — who doesn’t want a gallon of spiced rum or vodka? I know, I sure do and this present won’t go to waste! They carry a great seasonal selection and don’t miss out on the ever popular Christmas import beer advent calendar for that beer drinker in your life! I’ll be seeing you soon… P. S. You don’t need a Costco membership to shop here.

If you want great deals on wine, beer and liquor, then look no further than any Costco Liquor Store. Sure their selection may not be on par compared to private stores, but their prices(cheap!) more than make up for the smaller selection sizes. They also carry their house brand of wines & spirits, which I am told are excellent for quality and price. Don’t be afraid to stop here for your alcohol needs as you don’t need to have a Costco membership to shop here!

No Costco membership? That’s ok, you don’t need one to shop at the Costco liquor store. The prices here are really good, but the selection is pretty meh. If you’re looking for something other than the most popular brands, you’re probably out of luck. Best value? The 1.75 L bottle of Kirkland brand vodka. It’s actually not too bad.

Recently just discovered that you did not have to have a costco membership to use the Costco Liquor Store. We are holding an engagement party for our friends this weekend and were told to go buy the liquor at Costco. Holy cow did we save money! Unfortunetly if you are not a big drinker it could take you a while to get a bottle finished! I do not think many people would complain about that :)

My wife and I stopped in here to pick up some wine last night, and noticed the sign says they are only open until 830. It’s 820, so we are ok. We think. The moment we walk in the door a rather large bald young man walks in front of us, blocking our path, and says«Just to give you a heads up, we close in 5 or 6 minutes» I look at my phone, it’s 822. How long did he think it would take us? I turn to my wife and jokingly say that maybe we should go? Doesn’t sound like we should buy anything? He hears us, just goes back to what he was doing. We turn around and leave, he doesn’t care in the least, and shows it by keeping his back to us as he cashes out his till early. We don’t care either. We went to the Superstore liquor store for the first time, which is open until 11, and the two ladies working there was more helpful than we could believe, considering it’s SUPERSTORE. PS the prices were amazing.

This place is awesome! It is similar in prices to the Real Canadian Superstore Liquor Store but the selection of wine is not as good. This place does have major price reductions to alcohol, wine and beer. If you are planning a party or a weekend away, this is the place to stop. It can get pretty busy on days before a long weekend, especially in the summer when people are going camping. Tip: You DON’T need a costco card to buy from here. pretty cool!
