Fried chicken wings were fresh, juicy and flavourful. Pricy for 6pcs($ 10.50), but worth spending for. I’ve tried squid tentacles long time ago and they were also good. Gosh, haven’t had squid here for ages. My chicken wings were perfect with Sriracha. Yummy.

I finally tried their famous fried chicken wings. The food court stall was super busy as it seemed like everyone else was ordering the same thing. Unfortunately, we found it to be ordinary and not worth the wait. We also tried the milk tea and it was just ok.

I finally tried their famous fried chicken wings. The food court stall was super busy as it seemed like everyone else was ordering the same thing. $ 10 for 6 wings is a pricey snack but I found that it was worth it. The chicken was perfectly crispy, juicy and flavourful. The lemon tea, on the other hand, was lacking lemon flavour and tasted watered down. We also ordered a bowl of vermicelli beef brisket and pork ball soup. The order arrived complete with the wrong noodles and fish balls instead of pork balls. As the line up was long, we were not going to wait for a new bowl of noodles. Four stars for the chicken wings. I would skip the other items next time.

Reading so many good reviews that the chicken wings are really deep~~fried~~ and oily. The hk style milk tea and curry squid are disappointing too when the squid was overlooked and the milk tea doesn’t have condensed milk.

If wings can be classed as dessert, I’ll be having dessert for my main meals all the time. I saw so many people wandering around with boxes of deliciously crispy deep fried full chicken wings(with the tip, drum and wing). Poked around, and saw that they were all coming from Wu Fung Dessert. I picked up 3 wings for about $ 6, which is quite a filling snack. I was contemplating between this, or just their fried wingettes, but my friend said the full wing is the best. Seriously, the meat just falls right off the bone, and its so incredibly juicy. It was burning the roof of my mouth, but I didn’t care. They also serve a lot of other appetizers/snacks for under $ 5(intestine, tripe, fried octopus, etc). But its clear what the big seller is here. My next mission — figure out how to fry wings as good as they do!

Stuff isn’t exactly healthy for you but it’s cheap comfort food if I had to sum it up as such. I especially enjoy their deep fried squids and wonton noodles. Only thing is they work retail hours and usually closes fairly early – I believe at 9PM.

Every time I am in the area I do get some of their fried chicken which I will admit for junk chicken this is actually the best that I’ve had. It probably has to do with the batter spices. I am not that adventurous to try the other menu items in spite of staring at the menu board in consideration for trying. If you thought that the chicken was good… man the wings were awesome. My GF shouldn’t have let me try one of hers ’cause one turned into 3.

After reading all of these amazing things about their chicken wings, I just had to try it for myself. I ordered the 3 piece wings and fried calamari. The wings would actually be 6 pieces in most other places since each piece is a full wing including the drumette. They were very crispy and crunchy and juicy on the inside. It was so perfectly cooked, at the edge of doneness. I failed to find these wings amazing, though, and thought they lacked real flavor. The calamari was so good. It is the same batter as the wings so it is very crunchy chewy at the same time. I think I’d come back for the calamari, but not the wings.

If a place is really good, I would put up with the«cash only» treatment. This place is one of them. I mainly come here for the chicken wings. Sometimes go out of my way if I’m in the mood for the stuff. The iced tea is very addictive as well, just as good as the wings. Other thing I’d put up with us the long line up before getting my food because it comes out fresh and juicy. Try their fish balls as well, pricey but well worth the wait.

Saw a bunch of people with chicken wings in the Aberdeen food court, so decided to get some also. The wait was a little long, but it was worth it. Chicken wings were pretty good, hot, and not too salty. They charged 10 cents for a cup of tap water, though. Cash only, but they accepted US dollars 1:1.

Yummmmm. I know Wu Fung is known for its fried chicken wings, but might I take a moment and make another suggestion: fried pig intestines? Located in the Aberdeen Centre food court, WF does both fried appetizer type foods but also noodles with lots of traditional Hong Kong style street food ingredients(curry fish balls, beef tendons and the like). I came here on Sunday for a snack and ended up getting the fried pig intestines. While I’d be overly dramatic if I called them life changing, they are(1) worth the wait,(2) relatively cheap at 5.50 and(3) so good! The intestines were very fresh tasting, and I swear there must be crack or some other addictive substance in the fryer(maybe that’s why the wings are so popular?). I wasn’t even that hungry but I basically inhaled the dish. Add that sweet and tangy sauce on the side. So good. Service: typical food court like service. My dish took a while but they were also pretty busy. Cash only! Bottom line: how many places can you say«those intestines though?» I’ll be back and try the wings but definitely going to get the intestines.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about for these chicken wings. After reading all the reviews I was so excited to try them and boy was I disappointed. I don’t know how often they change their oil but the taste of stale oil dominated this dish. And the flavour wasn’t that impressive either. If you want to-die-for chicken wings then go to Phnom Penh in Chinatown — now these guys know how to make wings!

The place is located in the Aberdeen Food Court and I was recommended to try their deep fried pig intestines. First of all, I hate eating animal innards, so the fried intestines tasted absolutely disgusting to me! Never again! Even if it was recommended! Next time, I’ll order what’s super popular here! Fried chicken wings! Also, why is this place called a dessert place??? I don’t see desserts!

Can concur with previous reviewer; saw some customers walk away, one, they looked smaller, and two, pretty oily too. Suppose it’s a quick fix if you’re inside Aberdeen.

The best n longest line shop in Aberdeen center food court. Their deep fried chicken wings is the number 1 food u must order. Crispy, juicy, tasty, tender meat… try it n u will know wht am I talking about. Their deep fried items are also good like squid tentacle n pig intestine. Their pig intestine taste like the one in HK, no stinky smell n crispy outside. I also like their ice lemon tea, had it almost everyday lol Also tried their«a la carte noodle» n curry fish ball but they are soso to me. The curry sauce is not Hkese style one so I dun like it.

Wu Fung Dessert is located in Aberdeen’s food court — an odd name due to the word«dessert», but a place that serves good food nonetheless. They are known for their dessert wings, but I was able to try their noodles. Basically if you want a noodle bowl with two ingredients, it is a set price, three ingredients — more expensive, etc. There are different types of noodles here(oil noodles, flat rice noodles…) I tried their rice noodles with beef brisket and curry fish balls. Each bowl also comes with a few vegetables. My sister ordered oil noodles with soy chicken wings and beef brisket. They were made super quickly, and tasted very good for the price. I feel like the soup broth was pretty good, and the ingredients were just as tasty(and they included a lot, too). The quality is comparable to Sam Woo in the LA area. I also was able to try an order of the dessert wings(which are basically fried chicken wings). I think three of them was about $ 4 – 5. They were super delicious and really crispy. It was really good, but at the same time, I knew it wasn’t good for me, but I couldn’t stop eating them! And lastly, their lemon iced tea is really reminiscent of Hong Kong’s lemon iced tea. It’s served in a very durable plastic cup and they give lots of lemons. The tea is delicious, and I do think it’s worth the $ 2.25.

Wo Fung Desserts. The name is a bit deceiving when they special in everything but desserts. If you want a quick and dirty snack their deep fried chicken wings() are amazing even if a lil oily! If you want a bowl of mix and match noodles() — pick your own tems such as beef tripe, beef brisket, radish, fish balls, etc then this is the place. Also I quite like their soy sauce hard boiled eggs. Expect to wait as they are busy any time of day! Located in 3rd Floor food court in Aberbeen Mall in Richmond.

Places come and go at Aberdeen all the time, but Wo Fung has survived for quite a while, and for a reason. I can’t really comment on their other items, but I always make a beeline for their fried chicken wings, and cold drinks. Wings — omg these are good. Not too oily, but just the right amount of batter. I dream of this stuff at night. Drinks — $ 2 for lemon coke, lemon tea, or lemon honey water. All of them are good. I’ll take this over a Frappuccino anyday. They really do this right, and of course, there is no substitute for fresh lemon slices.

A lot of people have already written about their delicious fried chicken wings. so I’ll write about their really good noodle soup bowls, where you choose your own ingredients. It’s so cheap too! First you choose the type of noodles you want like vermicelli, a medium thickness rice noodle, or egg noodle. Next, you can choose from a wide range of ingredients from chicken wings to beef brisket to corn to squid balls to cheese sausage to curry fish balls. They make it quick too(which is great because there’s always a line-up). The soup is nicely seasoned and never salty, plus the bowl always comes with Chinese choy as well. I find this choice in food gets left out due to the popularity of the chicken wings, but if you’re craving a good home-made style bowl of noodles, try this out! Note: There’s a list of all the ingredient choices on the cashier counter-top.(English and Chinese) Prices for noodle bowls: 2 items: $ 4 3 items: $ 4.75 4 items: $ 5.50
