DO NOT GO HERE! The prices may be alright, but the service is horrible.
I was going to get new glasses here so I came in and the initial lady I talked to was wonderful! She was welcoming but also gave me my space when I wanted to look at frames instead of hounding me like other employees have in the past.
I chose the ones I wanted, she said they looked nice and so I decided to purchase them. Then she brought in another employee (with yellow curly hair) who made me sit down in a chair and told me to put them on. I did and she said «I don’t recommend these glasses they’re not for you.» It seems as if ‘I don’t recommend’ means ‘you’re not getting these glasses’.
I was just completely embarrassed because I just wanted to buy a nice pair of glasses but this woman was not allowing me to. Then she brought over frames which in my opinion were not the prettiest, and she kept complimenting them whenever I put them on like I get it you want me to get these. They were all so expensive, around $ 300 each. So in order to get away from her I had to just say that I’d think about it and I left as quickly as possible.
I understand that this is her job but is it really that bad if I buy glasses that I find stylish and comfortable rather than «fit for my anatomy»? This encounter honestly made me feel worse about how I looked and my nose because it made me feel as if I can’t wear nice glasses because of the face I was born with.
She should have just let me buy them because if I wanted a professional opinion I would have asked for one. It is never nice to have someone’s opinions forced over you.
If you can, I suggest you avoid this place because you risk being prevented from buying the glasses you want.
