Had not been to Old Spaghetti Factory in ages so we thought we would try it out. The hostess who seated did not give us a welcoming feeling and was very cold and rude. The table was covered in parmesan scattered all over and even on the new cutlery. We didn’t stay long enough for drinks and walked out.

I must admit that I like some food that is really just crap. For example, Taco Bell or McDonalds. No real nutritional value, greasy, made from god-knows-what, etc. But dude. I would never eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory again. Not just because of the food though — read on. Overdone spaghetti, crazy screaming kids everywhere, bread that looks like dough, butter that looks like it was already used by another table, wine that tastes like sewage, limp salads that came from a bag gasping for air, cream sauces that have uncooked flour in the roux/base, weird pictures and furniture that are actually quite creepy and dirty once you take a closer look and last but not least, a glimpse of a floating stool in the bathroom. Servers were perky, young and nice though. I will give you one star for recruiting nice, healthy, polite kids. But one star is enough.

I really enjoy the old spaghetti factory and especially the richmond location. The food has always been good. Their bread is the best and with the garlic butter. The minestrone soup and ice cream are free and come with your meal just like the bread. Yummy

Ate here a few nights ago. Service and food was awesome. Prices are very reasonable. It was so enjoyable I went back again 2 days later. Highly recommended this place.

Very suitable for kids. The washroom is clean and with stool for little guy to wash hands. The food is good and quantity is perfect. Nice services from the clerks. I love this restaurant.

The employees are extremely kind and have a lot of patience haha. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants similar to this, but I honestly think they have the best Italian food. Overall it’s a very good place to eat at and has a good location

Wishing my baby a happy 15th birthday! This is her top three places to go for a good meal. Our waitress(Alex) was awesome and on the ball with her service We noticed something different … And that is that they changed their bread. It’s no longer sourdough bread … The new bread is good … But lacked the density of the sourdough we liked so much. Other than that … Another amazing meal! OH! And how could I forget the best part!!! The wait staff got together to sing(nice and embarrassingly loud hahahahahah) HAPPYBIRTHDAY to my daughter!!! Nice!!!

Ok, it’s not cloth napkins five star, but with a name like Old Spaghetti Factory, I didn’t expect stuffy ambiance. The restaurant is well-staffed, and nice atmosphere. It’s a family type restaurant, and at dinner time it’s packed! I had the lasagna, which came with a soup or salad, bread, and ice cream and coffee or tea for dessert. The food was delicious and the portions were solid. I’m so full I can hardly breathe. The staff was attentive and cheerful. All the servers I saw were fast and smiling. The best restaurant experience I’ve had in the Vancouver area

Meh. Nothing too special on this visit with 4 other family members. Server was nice but a little unprofessional. Uncertain of where food was going, who had what, and assumed we were supposed to pass her our plates when clearing our table. Food was mediocre and décor is starting to get too old fashioned. Again, meh.

My son was with a group of about 30. His order came well in advance of the others in the group even though they ordered together. Within :30 to :45 min. He had stomach cramps and diarrhea. No one else had and symptoms.

This is a family friendly restaurant that hasn’t changed their formula but they don’t need to. The décor is comfortable and the service is acceptable. Depending on what time you come over there will either be no waiting to get your seat or you might have to be waiting for a long time, even more than 90 minutes if you get there for a cheap Tuesday night dinner and movie combo. But if you are having to wait for a long time there is a pretty unique looking goldfish tank and an epic size scale to weigh yourself. Personally what I like the most about this location is the value of what you pay for. You can choose from the classic menu selection which includes either a coffee/tea to go along with your freshly baked bread with butter, then you can either have a soup or a salad that will come before your main entre. But what the best part at the end is that you get to have some ice crem.

Food is ok, but the service is too intense. The servicer comes to ask«everything is ok» too many times, i know its good intention, but it feels like the server distracted our conversation. Also, when we are still working on the dishes, the servicer keeps ask«are you finish?» Feel a little bit pressured.

This is a Family Style restaurant that hasn’t change its formula. Where else do you find, soup or salad, main, ice cream and tea or coffee for under $ 20. Our server was very friendly and as soon as we sat down, he brought over our Warm Crunchy Sour Dough Loaf right away. We upgraded our Soup/Salad to: Clam Chowder — really thick and lots of clams French Onion Soup — lots of gooey cheese and salty with lots of onions Our pasta was tasty, and we finished with ice cream and bottomless coffee. Great place to hang before or after going to the movies.

Great service. Complimentary tea, hot water and coffee. Entrée includes either free salad or soup + free ice cream dessert. Tonight, I ordered the seafood fettuccine in Alfredo sauce, but I’ve asked them to add tomatoes in my dish so that the white sauce won’t be too heavy for me. It turned out to be a great dish. I love it. Everything’s tasting great. Great value. It is a good family restaurant. I think they have this promotion going on, for adults, $ 19.95. Entrée+Movie ticket for the night. I think it’s great value.
