Awesome service and awesome food. It’s a nice little restaurant that is never too busy which is shocking considering how amazing this place is. Def try the saba fish. One of my many faves they have there.

Have the best Japanese food, sushi and service. The oyster are the fresh in all BC and the price not too expensive.

Compared to the other izakayas in DT, maybe I’m being too tough. Prob still more than decent for Richmond, at least one doesnt have to drive all the way down there. The ebi mayo was just ok but the chikawa fish cheese actually were pretty good, bulky too. comparable to gyoza king but dont order the ebi mayo, one would be disappointed. mayo wasn’t there, and overly deep fried w/the batter. Kimchi hot pot also recommended, had not only some serious kick but unique flavour. Lots of tofu, pork, sitake mushrooms… nice open flame too with the cooking unit they bring to the table and light up, … Sable fish, though a bit oily, very tender, flakey… a bit on the expensive size for the palm size for $ 9… Still would come back, good atmosphere and service but not anytime soon. free parking in the back.

I’m a little irked out that it’s been over a month since I’ve put this on mobile and nobody on Unilocal has done a full review on it yet. Let’s cut to chase. I ended up having a one of their Yaki Udons with mushroom. I can sell hands down, for me it was the best Yaki Udon I’ve had in the lower mainland. It was soft, chewy, had a nice smooth creamy texture. Though it would be considered on the pricey side, I would pay to eat it again. Then I had a scallop roll. Good clean taste. The chef took a lot of time and care in terms of preparation. A lot of rolls I see are poorly done, sometimes the rolls don’t fully form, and when you pick it up, it unravels. Or they have too much crap hanging out from the ends. It wasn’t like that here. And I can’t remember for sure, but I believe this place opens up pretty late on some of the weekdays. Until 2am, but don’t quote me on that. Will I be back, yes.
