I have been a customer since I was very little, one of my first pairs of prescription glasses was purchased in that store. I have thoroughly enjoyed the service I have received there over the years, helping me pick the glasses that fit me the best. The prices are also extremely reasonable and there are many selections available for me. I had recently expressed my interest in a pair of custom designed Ray-Bans, and the manager was able to quickly accommodate me and bring in a model with the exact specifications and two-tone colours I wanted. Adjustments are done quickly and professionally, and all of the employees take time to make sure that they fit properly and comfortably on my face. Thank you Smart Eyewear for an awesome experience.

Must be good pricing here because another optical store literally right beside them is usually empty. I’ve gotten a few quotes from them on my unique prescription lense, so prices seemed average. What would just stop me from buying is simply way too many people here, all crammed together. Wished I had taken a pic from the many times I’ve shopped at Parker Place. So not quite the boutique experience if that’s what you’re after.

We have been getting our glasses here for over 15 years. The service is excellent. Doesn’t matter who you get, they do spend the time to make sure you are happy. We have eight pairs of glasses made here between DH and I. And each pair were fitted properly, we often go back to have the arms adjusted or the nose pieces replaced and they do not charge for this extra service. I find their prices are cheaper if you do not choose the name brand designer frames. My DH always choose the frames with the extra sunglasses attachment and they were $ 150-$ 180. The glass are usually high index regardless of your prescription. Before we travel anywhere, we bring our spare glasses in for a check and clean and they often clean, adjust the frame and most times replace the nose pieces all free of charge. Even though most of the clientele is Asian, they do speak English very well. My friend usually buy her soft contacts here.

This is the one at Parker Place. They own another one in the same mall that offers high end eyewear. I’m reviewing the regular priced on that’s at a corner location. WORST after sales service ever. I tried on a pair of frames and mentioned that the sides are a bit loose. I have a lower bridge so it’s important that they sit well on my Asian nose. Who wants to have the frames in your line of vision. The guy reassures me that it would be fine and he would fix it. Good thing I only put in non-prescriptive lenses because his story changed when I went to pick them up. I was willing to spend more money to get something that fit better but he wasn’t having any of that and glued these tacky plastic things on the nose rests to lift the frames up. Barely. He had the gall to say that he would have to charge me $ 8 for the replacements. His attitude was that he was doing me a big favour after he sold me glasses that didn’t fit! I guess return business doesn’t exist for this store. I went to See N Save in Kerrisdale and paid $ 25 for wired nose pads. They sanded down the nose pads, inserted the wires with the plastic ends.
