I am a happy auto repair customer again.
One day recently, my big old truck wouldn’t start ;) I would turn the key and it sounded like the loudest grinding of some sort of gears that was tearing apart something else. That’s all I could say to explain it.
I made some calls and was thinking I will just have to get it towed to Joe Soars and have them take a look. But towing isn’t cheap so I called Russ at Richmond Mobile Brake and Tune. He was really helpful on the phone, listened to my concerns, asked lots of questions and the price is better to have him come to me than towing costs. I made a video of the sound the truck was making and he even took the time to watch it to get an idea as to what it could be before coming out here.
when Russ arrived he had a look and knew what the issue was immediately. He even brought the part along just in case so he wouldn’t have to leave to get it or have it delivered. He took the time to show me the replacement part and to explain clearly exactly what had happened. I always appreciate that!
45 min later it was done, the price was great and my truck actually sounds better than ever.
