The older Asian guy here is really helpful and quite articulate. He knows exactly what you’re looking for and is quite knowledgeable of essentially all the instruments in the store. 10⁄10 better than Tom Lee. Just don’t ask help from the younger looking Asian dude with the long hair. He was being quite impolite the last time I went here with my friend. We were minding our own business testing out some DJ equipment which weren’t even that loud yet the moment he heard us he plugged in a guitar and cranked it up right beside us and started playing Metallica. It was pretty funny actually but still quite rude. Anyways tldr don’t ask that long hair youngish Asian dude for anything

Great store, good selection and very helpful staff. Need a room for demoing the product but otherwise no complaints.

They sure manage to squeeze a lot of equipment into this space! Acoustic and electronic guitars and pianos, harmonicas, ukeleles, you-name-it. Instruments may also be rented for various lengths of time. The staff are knowledge about the products. Seems mostly focused on guitars, amps, and speakers. As for sheet music, which is what I’m always looking for, there is a very limited selection at the back of the store of popular and classical titles, as well as pedagogical material, such as RCM books, textbooks, etc. But nowhere near as extensive as the downtown or Terminal locations, or Tom Lee Music up the road, for that matter. If you’re looking for sheet music, it’d be best to call ahead.
