I came to Aberdeen Mall to have tea with a girlfriend and we did some browsing in the mall. This was one of the stores that we visited. Okay here is how it works, the majority of the store are toy machines in which you insert a token and spin the knob and then a ball dispenses with your toy. Each token is = $ 2. You buy your tokens in advance. I bought some cute Kwaii panda figures for fun for no real purpose other than to use a toy machine to feel like a kid.

I was there in a weekend with my friends, we like the selection of the store. A lot to see and you could spend hours just by looking at their displays… prices are medium compare to those toy shop in Hong Kong. If you have been to those hk toy shops, prices can be all differ in each of the shops and there is no such thing called«price match». the staffs were helpful and patience even when I asked them couple questions like where was this made? When was it first made? Will there any others one similar to this one? She did help me to grab all I wanted to see. I didn’t buy anything at the time though but greatly appreciated their service… compared to a lot of retail shops in Vancouver, I think they have done the job. will definitely go again next time when I go to richmond.

Horrible. I asked for them to unlock their show cases because I wanted to see the figures closer and I actually did have every intention to buy it. But all I got was 3 people crowding the checkout counter completely ignoring me. I had to literally tap them on the shoulder of the one playing on her phone to have her help me. There was no lineups or anybody at the counter either. When she finally got up to unlock the casing, I asked her what year the model was, and she just gave a huffed look at me and replied with: «All items are final sale and it is brand new. It looked pretty dusty to me though in my opinion. Should improve the service greatly. Horrible service.

Inventory is pretty good, however their stuff is WAY too expensive! They are literally gouging your wallet by charging you nearly double the cost of an item’s market value. Going online to purchase figures would not cost nearly as much as what Gacha is charging, even AFTER shipping. I recommend sticking to Ebay, Amazon, etc.

Didn’t actually buy anything here but I did notice a large assortment of character goods one would find at a UFO catcher in Japan. These items, especially outdated, would be easily found for sale(unopened in box) for as little as ¥600 or roughly $ 6 up to maybe ¥1200 it $ 12. The items I found were minimum $ 65. Now, I’m no math genius, but surely the markup on these items shouldn’t be that high even including the shipping cost from Japan to here and a bit of markup for profit. If you are really into these things, either find a seller on eBay or save your money and enjoy a trip to Japan and get the good stuff for less.
