Door Express

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered doors with Glen, the owner, and also spoke with Dane. They kept giving me excuses why my doors weren’t here after 9 weeks when they told me 2 weeks. They promised me three different delivery dates and never showed up.
The excuses ranged from can’t get them off the freighter, too busy to deliver them, didn’t renew my passport to cross the border to Washington, the last door was defective, worker finishing them went home early, forgot to ship us the materials needed for the jams, and Dane, an employee that I was passed off to, said the reason for the problems was that
the owner was having personal problems and the office wasn’t functioning well. They never called me to tell me the doors weren’t being delivered when they said they were so we waited each time for the doors to arrive. After Dane, told me the doors were there, Glen used the excuse that they hadn’t received them yet! When we were tired of not being told the truth and got angry then they stopped taking our calls, didn’t answer emails or text. The only way I could get through was to have someone else call and then give me the phone when they answered. We finally gave up and cancelled our order which I think they wanted us to do since they had our deposit.
We have asked for it back but they haven’t answered any of our emails, texts or calls.
We will be contacting the Consumer Protection Office, the Attorney General’s Office and the BBB. Don’t get scammed!!!

The owners are dishonest and due to this I cannot recommend their services. Please beware of them.

Door Express was recommended to us by a builder friend. The rep we dealt with was helpful and went out of her way to save us money. We are very happy with our new doors!

Very nice people… until they’ve got your money, hard to get a call back, and they only accept cheques… wtf? (red flag alert if you ask me)
Unfortunately, I only found out after I bought my doors that this company has an «F» grade on the BBB site. Customer service is atrocious to say the least.
Quoted me $ 200 to deliver 1 door!?! Wtf!?! Do you not have your own delivery truck?
Beware of companies that have to resort on advertising on Craigslist. This simply means they do not have the reputation with builder’s to get repeat business.
They only want cash or cheques (what does this tell you?) no recourse on your payments.
