These guys sell non apple brand cords at their store for iphones, and apple computers. The cords work only for a short time(usually for only about 2 – 3 weeks) and then stop working. Their warranty only covers 2 weeks. When the apple iOS changes on your device, the cords stop working but they don’t tell you that when you buy them. I was just informed this by one of the people who work at the store today. Prior to that they never mentioned that before. I’ve bought many cords from this company that stopped working very quickly. It’s a waste of money. Even worse, I bought a non-apple charging cord for my Macbook Pro. The cord burned a hole in my $ 3000 couch and it wasn’t even the wattage it should have been according to other stores I went to. It burned so hot I thought it would start a fire. I had to handle it with gloves. Beware buying any cords from this company whatsoever. The cords don’t work for long and even worse yet, they might be fire hazards(truly). Be careful.

We have used dmac on a number of occasions for repairs to broken iPhones and two Mac Book Pros. The staff here are, without exception, courteous and knowledgable. They always give us information in a straightforward manner and explain our options. Yesterday we went in with my daughter’s Mac Book Pro that wouldn’t open. The gentleman confirmed that a new HD was required. When we explained that my daughter had a school assignment she was working on on the HD that wasn’t backed up, he smiled understandingly, said give me a minute and was able to access the file on the old hard drive through his computer and put it on a USB stick for her. All this about 15 min. prior to closing on a Saturday afternoon. These guys are great and at a fraction of the price and time at an Apple Store.

Whenever I am in need of a usb to micro usb phone charger this is where I stop to one up. If you are lucky you can expect a buy one to get one half price special and pick up 2 for less than $ 10. They have a variety of phone cases and other knick knacks. The guy behind the counter is efficient and courteous but not overly friendly which is okay by me.

Excellent, courteous and timely service. Lowest quote I received for upgrades to my IMac. No messing around or upselling. First class.

I was searching online and came across DMAC as I was looking to have a dead hard drive replaced in an iMac. This was the first time I had been in the store and I am very impressed. Friendly, helpful and quick. In less than 24hrs I have a new HD installed. Two thumbs up for great customer service!

I love Apple Stores but going in to one is a challenge since most kids use them as hang outs, especially the one in Richmond Centre. DMAC is one of the alternatives. Located on the northside of Lansdowne, where Earl’s is, parking is plenty. DMAC have everything from Macbooks to iPads to softwares and hard drives, just like the Apple Store in Richmond Centre, in a much smaller scale. You can browse and demo Apple products without the huge crowd. They also service sad Macs and make them work like new again. Next door to them is their discount store, offering accessories for your all your gadgets. The staff is super friendly, and very knowledgeable about all things Apple.
