You could call this the ham between the sandwich. as this little ‘square’… ‘plaza’… is stuck right between Parker and the monstrosity known as Aberdeen Centre. The structure has not changed, and neither has some of its tenants since the existence of this spot… the only two I know how are the staples here are Lido and the tofu shop… other than that businesses come and go here like fairweather friends… when the going is good. they stay. and when not. well bye bye birdie! That being said they have done at least one change here, which is put up a stupid little cone with an arrow pointing right when you enter from Hazelbridge, as the front portion circle is a one-way on a loop. Of course you will have that unsuspecting driver come in and not follow the sign which creates a small amount of chaos and a ton of beeping! Also… of note to all of you who park in this plaza, read where you park, there are some spots that are short term… like 30 minutes. or is it 15… you will get a ticket… count on it… I have seen many while being here, no need to get an extra surprise while you are in some shop cause you got lazy, and didn’t read! The big tennant in this place is the Japanese restaurant situated on the second floor, you will notice a hair salon, a bakery, a closed down bubble tea shop up in the corner, some other non-memorable shops in this place. and there you have it… almost without walking the joint you can see everything from the parking lot. except the stores and offices that are inside. The only place I frequent is Lido. other than that… really I don’t come to this ‘Square’ for anything else, unlike in my youthful days when Stone Tea Bar was open, there was a video game shop inside, there was a karaōke joint upstairs, and the tofu shop was actually good…

Not really that I’m a fan of the whole plaza, but it’s got a few goodies: Regent Bakery and Li Do Café, which has their famous pineapple buns and a full-service sit-down HK café style food. 2 hair salons and a well-known tofu dessert place round out the ground level. Inside though, a few offices, a travel agency I think… Upstairs has that atrocious AYCE sushi. Parking’s pretty dreadful during weekends here, with the back parking all reserved for the tenant owners, presumingly.
