I was there with my co-​worker yesterday to get some coin rolls for work. Going there, we got the rest of the nickel rolls. Unfortunately, one of the bags was ripped so we just returned it. Service was normal, and otherwises… there is nothing special…

I would give this store a negative rating if I could! This store is the BIGGEST rip off! I completely agree with Isabelle G!!! There is hardly anything for a buck or two. I bought something there for $ 12 (I know… BIG mistake, but in a moment of weakness rushing around with kids etc… my own fault). I saw the EXACT same thing today for $ 3 at Dollarama! I called to see about getting (at very least) a store credit. NOPE! Final sale! The staff was extremely rude and I HATE this store. I will NEVER return… EVER!

Solid 3.5 b/​c no other dollar stores @ the mall lol, surprising they can pay the rent here as they’re no where as popular as the green/​yellow outfit.
It’s quite the compact store, your usual gamut of items with some more expensive $ 6 shades and $ 5 magnets. Pretty much what you expect for a dollar or two for the cheaper stuff.

My biggest issue in the world (okay one of my big issues) are dollar stores that pose as dollar stores but they’re not really dollar stores, more like $ 10 and below store (rarely). This store doesn’t claim to be a dollar store. The call themselves «A Buck or Two.» Be warned, there are only a few items that are $ 2. They try for honesty in their title but they still had me at hello as there was a lot of quality things that were $ 5 and under which to me is still really cheap. The lady at the til was super friendly.

Yes, they have the equivalent of pound shops in Canada It’s a few years back, so I’ll admit to straining to remember what they had in here. Just as varied as a UK pound shop One thing I did get, to carry with me as part of my ‘safety kit’ when doing the Grouse Grind trail, was a plastic rain poncho. What makes it special is it has Canadian red maple leaves printed on it. How camp is that? Definitely worth stopping by.
