Love this Tims, mainly because it’s so close to work. The staff are über nice here and so polite when ordering. I think their small cups are bigger than the Tims at 16th/Leslie. Brought a coffee into work and coworker asked if it was small or medium. Told her small and she showed me her up that she got from 16th/leslie location. Lo and behold my cup was bigger. don’t know why. Perhaps they messed up? When they handed me the coffee, I heard them say small coffee. so I guess I’ll pick one up from each location to see: D

For some reason we decided to get coffee at night and mess up out sleeping pattern! This is one of the better Tim Horton’s in the area. Menu is your usual Timmy’s coffee and donuts with few seasonal items. I’m not a fan of their soups(except when I have cold) but their sandwiches and wraps are good. Staff are very friendly. Tim Horton’s free WiFi never disappoints. Washrooms are clean.

How does this timmies still run? It’s literally the slowest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. I rarely come here, maybe once every few months but even then… I regret it. I wait in the line for over 6 minutes every time and BOTH the cashiers are open and they are never understaff. In fact, there’s an abundance of workers behind the counter running around. I don’t know what is slowing down their productivity so much but every time I’ve been in, the workers look lost and the manager looks stressed as hell — and I don’t blame her. I give them 1 extra star because the manager is really helpful — she was giving me suggestions on what spread works best on the pretzel bagel when it first came out(aaaand the result is mustard!) Also, this is one of the only timmies that take my order without giving me a confused look(I get iced black coffee. apparently that’s not common?) Anyway. the drive thru is not that slow. I recommend it if you are planning on grabbing something quick from here.

Philadelphia in Canada? I don’t know but they sure do take their donuts seriously in this town, almost as seriously as Philadelphians take their cheese steaks. I was looking for a fast coffee and donut and decided to try this Tim Horton’s. These damn things are everywhere in Toronto, even more pervasive than McDonald’s in the Chicago area, so I was definitely curious. Apparently this«ugly American» annoyed our friends up north. They got a little peeved when I didn’t I didn’t bark out an order number and use the proper jargon for the kind of coffee I want. But the lady on the counter felt sorry for me and helped me through it. Some of the customers were kind of grumbling though. If you’re from south of the border, try to get a few natives to help you properly order from Tim Horton’s. That way you’ll avoid getting the Philadelphia treatment from some of the servers or customers. By the way, coffee was good and apple fritter hit the spot.

This is quite possibly one of the worse Tim Horton’s I have ever encountered. The management is terrible, the employee distribution is ridiculous and they always get my order wrong! I like to walk-in instead of using the drive-thru if I have a larger order and don’t want to waste people’s time in the drive-thru lane. There are 2 cash registers and most of the time there are 2 people manning them, sometimes there is only 1 when it is a particularly dull time. But when looking over at the drive-thru area, what you see is 6 people standing around«helping» drive-thru. Is it really necessary for that many people to help out in the drive-thru? And if there are so many people for that, why is there still a line-up for the drive-thru? But the BEST part is, if there is a line-up INSIDE and only one cash register is being manned, not ONE of those 6 employees from drive-thru will bother to walk over and help out on the other cash! YES, that is how a business should be run. Every time I open my coffee, it tastes bitter, the reason? Oh just because they couldn’t be bothered to stir my sugar through the coffee so it just sits in a huge lump at the bottom. And how hard is it to hear double-double with MILK. Cream makes me gag and I can tell right away just by looking that it’s cream not milk, so get it right. When going back to inform the employee that they had gotten my order wrong, it seems that I had interrupted their fun time and given them a daunting task. I can’t believe I actually come back to this location, possibly because it’s the closest to my house but I have since cut coffee out of my system and feel no need to go back… EVER!
