The space is small with a few tables but somewhat bright as there’s a translucent roof and there’s casual relaxing music as you walk in which directs you to the display fridge of Individual Cakes ($ 3.50). The sole staff explains the current deal of Individual Cake ($ 2.95) and if dined in comes with a Coffee, SOLD!
Upon further microscopic dissection, I realized that I’ve seen that Guava Cake before. Going through historical database, it was L’Opera in North York.
The staff almost sold me on what she said was the House Specialty Tiramisu but I wasn’t in the mood, so I settled for the White Chocolate Red Bean which tasted as it reads. Excellent snack for the value paid.
Much like L’Opera, this place doesn’t seem to have a kitchen space so WHERE are these Cakes coming from? As I relaxed sipping my Coffee and looked at a newspaper clipping of Tokyo Bakery…
