Stopped for a quick meal after a meeting before heading a back to Calgary. Pad thai was good and everything tasted fresh. The thing that stood out for me was how friendly the staff were.

Nice atmosphere, wonderfully helpful and pleasant staff. Great portions, but,…wait for it,…tooooooo much noodle, not enough substance! Little protein to speak of, few vegetables aside from some bean sprouts. Sorry but in my opinion they missed the mark here. Hey kids, have mom and dad take you here for lunch or dinner, you won’t have to eat your vegetables because there aren’t any. They won’t have to cut your meat for you either.
With the present condition of the economy this place is a poor choice for value, at nearly $ 15 for a meal, then ad a beverage and you’re pretty much at $ 20 for a bowl of flavoured noodles.

I’ve been to Noodle Box probably four or five times now. While I have ordered the same thing every time (Thai Chow Mein), each time has been absolutely, 100% consistent. And delicious.
I’m a fan of my food having some heat to it, so I usually choose Medium-Hot. Beef or chicken, it’s great. I DID try the heat level up from Medium-Hot and it was still good. I found that the staff are really helpful in figuring out what heat level you’ll want to try.
I do take-out when I go there, but you can sit and eat as well. They have some interesting beverage options as well, including wine! YEAH!
