We were in town for a weekend getaway and were staying across at the hotel. Decided to give this a place a try as we didn’t feel like driving around. We were seated quickly, the service was friendly, food was tasty and prices reasonable. Will definitely be back.

I have been here a few times, the most recent being a couple of days ago. The service here has always been fantastic. Last time we came, we had the bacon hush puppies as an appetizer and they were very good. I think they have changed their menu since the last time. I had the ribs, which are now smoked and they were very good. The ribs had improved since the last time I was here. My fiancé had the chicken fajitas which seem to have gotten worse. They put rice in the fajitas and they didn’t come out sizzling on a hot plate like they used. They also had watered down the ketchup and I hate when restaurants try to make more money by cheaping out. To me it is all the small things that separate the truly great places from the average and watered down ketchup shows the priorities are on the profits instead of good customer service.

The staff was very good. They were kind, attentive and responsive. However, the food was severely over priced compared to the quality and taste of the dishes that we had ordered.

Not sure why all the negatives. This is the perfect place to eat in a chain hotel area if you are in town for business. Would I drive across town for it? Probably not… But would I eat here every night on a business trip without the worry of a drive … Definitely… Service was great and there is lots of tvs… Service could be a bit faster but that’s ok I was attended to just fine

I’m giving this joint one star. Because I’m pretty sure I have some sort of food poisoning. Wow. You should have heard that fart. It was amazing. No BS. I had to take a poop in the restaurant immediately after eating the flavourless meal. Here I am 3 hours later n it’s pretty epic. Almost want to post a pic of the diarrhea wet splatter that’s exploding out of my rectum. I seriously don’t recommend the carbonara to which I added a chicken breast and skewer of shrimp. Not only was t flavourless but I think I’ll be working overtime paying respects to the white porcelain God. Fml.

Burnt my burger and all they did was take it off the bill. Rude service that did not check up on you. Wish I could give half a star. I would rather eat the but out of a dead donkey.

Good Mexican food… I have been only a few times in red deer, and I have been taken twice to this place by 2 different people. That means that local people like the place… Last time I was there I had the tequila chicken and it was very good, all other dishes seem delicious as well. I don’t know many restaurants in the area, but this one is pretty good, and I have no issues going back there…

Terrible. Restaurant wasn’t 20% full on a Friday night at 750p. 25 minutes later we got up and left… maybe short staffed, but not once was our party of 4(who spent $ 160 at another restaurant) acknowledged for a drink, concern etc. Stay away. The front house staff that was there did not look happy and a very negative environment.

Its alright, they have been around awhile so its one of those go to places when you don’t know what you want. I’ve never had a bad meal here, but also never had a mind blowing one either. It’ll do in a pinch.

The Mohave Grill serves up Mexican-styled food in a Mexican themed atmosphere. I had the enchiladas, and they were pretty good. They were an appropriate size and when served with the sides it was quite a large meal. For a drink I had the sangria and much to my dismay, it was not true sangria but merely orange juice and wine. On a separate occasion I also had some drinks in the lounge and some wings and the wings were a pretty good quality. The hot wings had a good hot taste with about a 6⁄10 of spiciness(I like them really spicy). The staff were all really nice and the prices are pretty average for a restaurant. I guess I have just taken this time to say that it’s pretty average. I’ll be sure to update when I go back there again.

Written by my daughter, Alena: Not good for vegetarians. I saw that the only choice for enchiladas was chicken or beef. I asked if I could have enchiladas just with cheese, and the waitress said she’d have to check with the chef, and when she came back she said, «we just don’t do it that way.» I had to settle for the veggie quesadilla, and I’m not a fan of quesadillas.
