It’s my second time visiting Loondocks and both times were a great experience! Amazing food and friendly professional service! The fresh pasta was delicious! We sat on the patio overlooking the river, which was very nice and peaceful. I would definitively recommend it to anyone for a great meal! I make sure anytime I’m in Muskoka to stop by for dinner!

My family and I loved this place! The service was spectacular and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was really good. My mom never has duck but she decided to go for it this time and she fell in love with the duck wellington. Definitely order that dish if you find yourself in this cute cozy restaurant. My sister had the fettuccine bolognese — i dont think bolognese is the best pairing with fettucini pasta– which wasnt good. I can’t wait to come back during the summer when the dock is open and we can sit on the patio. The choices for desserts were limited but it was yummy. I will absolutely going to be coming back if I get the chance to visit Port Carling again.

What a great summer place. on the lake, near the locks, with a great patio. Watch the boats going from Lake Muskoka to Lake Rosseau.
The wait staff friendly and pleasant and efficient.
The food amazing. Including the Morley Burger, and smoke trout side salad.
Deserts were to kvell for.
And the restrooms have real individual hand towels and are spotless.
And the cost is very reasonable.
This is obviously a chef and owner that really care and have class.
We will return as much as we can for this great cottage eating joy.
