Established in 2012.

Peter Albania (Co-​Owner Yard Perfect) has been in the Landscape industry since 1980. In 2003 Peter had the opportunity to be a landscape designer for a large Landscape firm. Gwen Goodwin (Co-​Owner Yard Perfect) has been a Horticulturist since 1979. Gwen retired as a Horticulturalist with the Bank of Canada in 2012. Peter and Gwen decided to create a business combining their two professions and Yard Perfect was born. We found a niche in the industry. As a Landscape Designer, Peter thought «far to many homeowners are creating large projects on their properties without a plan of action». Build this walkway here, then stick a garden there and hope it all works together. Most of the time it doesn’t and they call a landscaper. «If you have enough time to do this twice then you surely have enough time to do it right the first time» Gwen takes great pride in helping Homeowners with either Weekly Garden Maintenance, Garden Staging to sell your home or Garden Coaching.

Gwen has been a horticulturalist since 1979. Gwen and her helper do Landscape Maintenance on homeowners gardens within the City of Ottawa on a weekly, Bi-​weekly or monthly basis. She also beautifies garden beds to stage your home for the first view of your home, curb appeal! She also helps homeowners with Garden coaching. Weeding and maintenance can be overwhelming, she can show you how to make it easier with the right tools, tricks and timing.
