Great place, good food. My wife and I shared a two piece fish & chips, Greek salad, and spicy beef noodle soup. The halibut was outstanding, huge serving, cooked just right, reasonable price.

We went to have lunch on a Sunday at noon. The service was uninspired and slow. We ordered a very simple meal — split a club sandwich — and waited 45 minutes and nothing. We asked to have the waitress to see what was the problem. Another 10 minutes and nothing. We cancelled and left when the manager did not appear. It was not busy and another couple waited at least as long for their meal. The waitresses were dressed as though they were working at a strip club. Terribly inappropriate as there were children present. The waitress was more concerned with her friends at a table than serving other patrons
Hope that you realize that visitors to Manotick expect hospitality is first and foremost, not keeping your buddies happy.
By the way, your manager, we believe it was a blond haired young lady in sweat pants looked like she crawled out from under the bed.
Not coming back — bad experience.

All me old fashion, but service in a pub should always be top notch, even if its busy. Went on a Saturday afternoon, and took almost twenty minutes to get my drink order, after my food arrived.
The food was ok, if somewhat over cooked. Better food is to be had at other places in the area

Good place to go for a pint and pub fare. Always had good service while sitting at the bar. Good food as well. 3 large screen TVs to watch the Sens play.
Be careful when you come… they have bands play on either Friday or Saturday night and it can get reaaaaaalllllllly loud.

A couple of stained glass windows and some dark wood beams try to suggest that this is a Scottish pub, but there’s nary a Scottish ale to be found. The only British/​Irish offerings are Guiness and Bass. The menu lists some British pub fare — my bangers and mash were even blander than Mom used to make and the bangers were somewhat dessicated. The service was friendly and the crowd was quiet. I guess I’d go back for a beer if there was nowhere else to go, but I don’t think I’d try anything else on the menu.
