Saying that Target is better that Wal Mart is difficult to defend, but here we are. I know that Target in Canada hasn’t been doing as well as hoped — mostly because of brands that are in the US stores, aren’t available here — but it isn’t that bad. I’m starting to like Target more than Wal Mart. This particular location is well taken care of, with nice wide aisles(with exceptions), it is clean, the shelves are well stocked, and they carry a relatively wide range of items. There is a lot of staff so it is is pretty easy to get help if needed. The down side is that while the aisles are large overall, there are sections where it is difficult to have two people pass in the aisles even without carts. But really, that’s my only complaint. That’s it. So why did I give a score of 3⁄5 stars? Because it’s still a low-level store and sometimes the merchandise reflects that.

It’s really clean and has wide aisles. But I’m lowering this down from a 5 to a 3, because I tried to buy a pound of coffee from the Starbucks, and they told me all the coffee is for display only. The purpose of having bags of coffee there is to make profit, not to display.

Went to this Target yesterday and was pretty amazed how large of a selection and quality products there was. This was the second Target I’ve been to. The first one was at Billings Bridge and it wasn’t a great Target. That’s why I was surprised when I entered this Target. The thing you will notice is how freaking clean and tidy this Target is. Their floors are well kept and products put back to their spots. I went straight to the toys selections and bought a replicate WWE belt. I found it pretty easily without any need to ask for help. They had a bunch of toys for kids of all ages. Overall, I would definitely go back here. If you are in the neighbourhood, check this Target out!

First time stopping in here since it opened as a new Target. I was a frequent customer here when it was a Zellers and the store definitely still has its large, open feel with the Target-specific branding, clean aisles, and quality brands. Great to see!

Hurray! The new Target in my ‘hood is finally open, and it’s much more like the Target I was hoping for than the one at Billings Bridge. Big, bright, and airy this place was spotless and very well organized. I headed over around 7p.m. on a weeknight, thinking it might be a bit crazy before the holidays, but it was great. I was way more impressed by the merchandise here — there’s a great accessories section that I spent a little too much time in, as well as a pretty decent grocery section. The only issue I had was that there were a couple of aisle that were super tight — you can’t even fit your gigantic target cart through them and are forced to leave them at the end of the aisle. Commonnn… Service was top notch and I am SO thankful to have this as my new option over WalMart’s craziness on Baseline. Thanks America!

I decided to drop by for their soft opening on a Thursday evening to pick up a couple of items. Having been to the billing bridge location several times now, I was not as excited as others who were just checking it out for the first time. I must say, what an improvement. The store itself is totally transformed into a bright, clean environment. There were plenty of staff on site, almost too many staff. Shelves were stocked; I only saw one small bare shelf there. Hopefully this store is successful with keeping up with the demand and inventory; I know other Targets have not been. Lets prey! Some items are comparable to its competitors and some items are more expensive. Again, they have some very unique brands, and the woman’s apparel always catches my eye. They have one slow moving door to enter the store, and one slow moving door to exit the store, which caused a lot of backup. I know Target is testing out the whole«let’s not play music in our stores, because it creates a more tranquil environment,» for the rest of the year, and I have to say, it totally brings down the tranquility of the environment. All I heard were numerous employee walkie talkies, and in my opinion, created an environment where it made me as a customer just want to get in, and get out. If they played some kind of soft music in the background, I could see myself spending the afternoon there, shopping with my girl-friends! :) I will return as a shopper once the crowds settle down from excitement as they have some really neat brands there.
