History

Established in 1953.

RainSoft was first started outside Chicago, USA by John Grayson a ex-​NASA engineer. Back in 1953 RainSoft was very small but has grown into one of the largest water treament companies in the world. Now in 2013 RainSoft has over 140 dealer locations in 20 countries. In Ottawa, On I have been the dealer for 15 years and there has been a RainSoft dealer here for almost 40 years. RainSoft is the only company to carry a lifetime warranty on water treament systems. Eternally Pure Water Systems, Inc (this is the dealerships name in Ottawa) has won many consumers choice awards and carries a A+ with the Better Business Bureau. The fact we do free in-​home tests for city and well water is very popular for people who know they want better water just not sure how to get it.

RainSoft of Ottawa has been my passion for 15 yrs going back to 1999. I started as a sales rep for the company but as luck had it the dealership became available to me and the rest is history. Water systems are a great product to get into peoples homes as they always love the water it provides. The Chemical engineering field is my background which helps alot when I get field reports from companies or test results from home owners lab tests or reports from real eastate agents. I love the outdoors, water sports and anything to do with sports.
