The décor is nice, and staff are very friendly — she even helped me decide between two items praising one over the other. Unfortunately it didn’t meet the hype. Normally the«plate» means the contents of the typical wrap are increased and laid out on a plate, with garnishes and possibly rice. In this case, it was just the wrap on the plate with potatoes + salad(not worth $ 4 extra). Also disappointed that the wrap was borderline cold, and the kafta was minced instead of being served whole, as it should be. Benefit of the doubt, but would not recommend.

What a treat… Lebanese food as you’ve never had it. Extraordinary flavors in every dish. I visit this place on every visit to Ottawa. Don’t expect a fast turn around. They clearly prepare everything to order and they always seem to be short-handed on staff… but…aside from that, when the food arrives, it’s always worth the wait.

This place has potential to be a 5star. Food is very good, hummus is fantastic, get the one topped with meat and pine nuts. Tabouleh is fresh and done right. The shish kabab was tender and flavorful. Service is friendly and prompt, our waitress pretty much handled the entire full house and didn’t miss a beat. Ambience and décor is meh. Lots of potential here and working on the ambience and vibe will move Najis to a 5 star in my opinion.

Could be some of the best humus in the city… Very fresh food that is not pre made You may need to wait a bit for the food but that is because the are making it fresh when you order Kid friendly Pita bread has never been stale or hard, always fresh and tasty Tabbouleh is so good and the falafel is delicious We really like Naji’s

Good: We got a table without waiting, woohoo! Better: One can definitely tell it’s family owned, which always makes for genuinely kind service. Best: The lentil soup hit the spot on this unforgivably cold Ottawa night. Really nice with a dash of lemon. The various meats included in the mezza platter were also tasty, but my favourite was the maanik sausage that we ordered on the side. «Perfectly spiced» says the boyfriend, and the yogurt sauce was a nice cooling compliment. Babaganoush and kebeh kbeb(that’s fun to say!) were solid. Overall, I found the meats and dips were the most delicious. As long as you’re eating with hygienic friends, I’d recommend sharing a bunch of small meze plates to increase variety. The main dishes seem to be laden down with rice and salad. Drink list is nothing special, standard beer choices and a few wines. Dollars: $ 50 for a mezza plate, two appetizers, beer, coffee, tax & tip(this was enough for two moderately hungry people… unfortunately we were ravenous so ended up having a second dinner at trio!)

Very good food, clean, excellent service, very simple décor, small restaurant; seats maybe 30 or 40 people.

The bottom line: not bad but not worth seeking out. Naji’s is a cute neighborhood joint. However, in my opinion, the restaurant felt«empty» despite being packed with customers due to the minimalist décor. The service is decent. The wine and beer lists aren’t very interesting. Now, on to the food. We had the chicken and beef kabobs as main courses. Both dishes were good and well presented. Our app(can’t remember the name) which consisted of seasoned ground beef with pine nuts served in a wheat shell was delicious. With a baklava for dessert, the tab came to $ 50 plus tax and tip.

Woohoo! As good as it gets! Food Quality & Presentation(10 out of 10) Ambiance(10 out of 10) Service(10 out of 10) Price(10 out of 10) Fair Market Rate Venue(10 out of 10) Clean & Comfortable Last night around 6:30 p.m., six of us, my family(wife, our two adult daughters, my wife’s cousin and sister) went for dinner. Between the six of us we really enjoyed a broad range of the menu items — from Entrees — Main Course — Dessert –Coffee/Tea. When in Canada’s National Capital Region(Ottawa-Outaouais) and want an outstanding Lebanese meal — one where delicious and freshness is second-to-none — definitely get over to NAJI’s at 753 Bank Street(2.5 Km — a 6 minute drive from Parliament Hill). NAJI’s, a family owned /operated restaurant, exemplifies longstanding traditional Lebanese values of hospitality and care for visitors/guests.

This is a decent place for Lebanese food. The service was attentive and the surroundings are pleasant. I had the kafta platter which was tasty though the pita was soggy in spots. The portion sizes are good and the prices are reasonable.

Very friendly service, but I found it very overpriced for what you get! The sandwich was very tasty, but I prefer Civic Shawarma down the street(which is also a portion of the price!), and the sandwich came with cold, nasty fries. I was really disappointed! I wanted to like this place, plus the family is very nice. I’m hoping this can be chalked up to growing pains!
