Mr Mozzarella

Mr. Mozzarella is yet another pizza joint that my wife and I scoped out in our attempt to find the best pizza deal in the city. Man, there are a lot of pizza places in Ottawa! Anyhow, Mr. Mozzarella differentiates itself from the rest by 1) creating a talking hunk of cheese as their logo, and 2) offering egg and not-​free pizzas. I am not sure if either of those options make sense (are their nuts in other pizzas? are that many people allergic to eggs?). The big plus is that they are a pizza place and ONLY a pizza place — not one of those places that sells everything as well as pizza. So, you have to believe they specialize in pizza, right? The prices are… well, okay. A medium is $ 16.99 and a large is $ 20. They have lots of specials. And what I really appreciated was that you can pay by debit card — even if they are delivering it to your door! Which is way beyond so many other eateries (Tim Hortons!). The pizza is good — chewy crust, tangy sauce and not cheap with the cheese. I just kinda wish it was a little less spendy.
