hands down the best meat and cheese pies in ottawa (IMO). if you get it fresh.
they usually keep a small batch pre made (warm up to order) if its lunch rush as the highs schools close by… even then they are sell fast enough the fresh ones keeps coming. get the meat pies with spice and lemon. accept cash only.

I was just here today for some meat pies ($ 1.75) and meat and cheese pies ($ 2.50). They are really good. More flavourful than at the Mid-​East Food Centre, but less flavourful that at Aladdin’s. Aladdin’s has a smoked flavour to their meat pies that I really like that Farhat’s lacks, but that’s probably just a matter of preference. The cheese here is not a gooey as at Aladdin’s, but still very good.
They only sell pies here, nothing else. They have other flavours like cheese, and meat and potato.
I appreciated that it was a different person who handled my money than the person who prepared my food. If the food handler had been wearing gloves on top of that, I would have given this place 5 stars.
They are in a strip mall at the corner of Meadowlands and Fisher. There’s free parking right out front.
This place only accepts cash.

Great prices: 2.75 for the cheese and less for the zaatar and meat.
Ask for a zaatar with cheese! Yumm!

They strictly make lebanese pies.
Great place to go to get a quick bite to eat.
Prices are great! (around $ 1.75 — $ 2.50 a pie)
Great selection with meat pies, cheese pies, zaatar, spinach, and many other great combinations.
Zaatar and veg is my personal fav.
Be warned, it’s really close to St. Puis High school so it can get busy during lunch with students getting a quick cheap eat.
