Abbas Grocery

This place is a lifesaver. Especially in the cold winter months when it’s so difficult to get to a real grocery store. This place packs all the essentials, plus some delicious sandwiches that I purchase regularly. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

This well stocked family owned and operated groceria is the hub of the little community I used to live in near Bell Street. The staff is brilliantly entertaining. I don’t know what the neighbourhood would do without Abbas, it keeps the place lively.

I lived in the apartment building next to this place for a year and this cute little store was a life saver a hundred times. Run by two brothers, you can probably find just about anything you’re looking for here if you forgot it at the grocery store. Some examples of products they sell that completely saved my ass: fuses, cork screws, gravol, pepto bismol, and some fresh produce! They also do cash back which was SO convenient.
They also make some really tasty sandwiches and salads, when I would get lazy for lunch I’d walk over and grab a chicken salad sandwich and a bowl of soup. If that isn’t enough to make you check this place out, they also have movies to rent.
The staff are friendly and always willing to help. It was very rare that I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for. I’d say the only advantage of living at the apartment building I lived in was being able to come here.
