My review is for the A&W breakfast. I heard good things about the regular menu but can’t really speak on it. So — breakfast: MMMMHMMMMHGOOOOOOOD! I mean, this is a fast food place and what I love about it is that they use REALEGGS! My favorite is the egg & cheese on an English muffin! I’ve tried the Tim Horton’s version — No Thank You. Too dry, too fake. Last week I bought SEVEN egg & cheese English muffins and had them throughout the day.(Of course I shared with my husband!!) Don’t judge me! They’re $ 2 each! So, while there’s a crazy lineup at Tim Hortons for the fake eggs, I’m at A&W enjoying the real stuff ;)

Okay… hear me out. I know it’s fast food, I know it’s a chain, but there’s a bunch of things this place is doing right, and I’m giving them kudos for it. I came in here with the wee ones and their mama for a «fun lunch» as we like to call it. I literally expected nothing but frothy, cold root beer and seasoned onion rings. However, I was pleasantly surprised! They now make a point of advertising that their beef is sustainable, and 100% beef with no additives or preservatives. Not that I ever eat burgers, but this made me think they’re onto something. I ordered a chicken salad, and it was surprisingly fresh and delicious. Of course, their root beer is always yummy and their seasoned onion rings great. This is a really fun place to take kids when they want fast food — it’s bright, clean and fun.
