Great non-​harassment style customer service! A simple hello upon entrance and a follow up «if there’s anything I can do» about 10 minutes later. Lots of selection of great educational toys and books (fun ones too). Nice that they had a Thomas table set up with a significant number of trains for the little one to play with while mom did a quick once around.
The only non-​English books they had were in French (which is fine), but it was nice to see that they had a good selection of Lego and also that there was a bathroom. Quick and friendly service upon checkout and also a great deal on Ravensburger Puzzles — buy 1 get the next 50% off. Will be back.

I like this place because it offers a good mix of toys and educational stuff for young (er) kids. Gift certificates are available for people like me that are completely overwhelmed with the selection.
Staff, specifically at Christmas time, are more than courteous and helpful.
I would highly recommend the owners to do one thing: open earlier. I pass this place fairly often and always see at least a few people standing outside. People with kids are raring to go much earlier than their 9:30 a.m. start time on Saturday mornings.

I went to Mastermind Toys for the first time to look at potential gifts and was curious to see what they sell. Initially the staff was extremely friendly however after looking around for not even 3 minutes a male sales associate came up to me and asked if I needed help, to which I replied that I was only browsing. What he said afterwards is what shocked me, he said «Oh well uh I guess just keep looking around then, see if you find anything, not that I care.» All while rolling his eyes and sounding fed up.
The attitude he presented was horrifying and made me feel extremely unwelcome. I left the store immediately and definitely won’t ever be coming back, at least not with that guy’s passive aggressive attitude.

Love this place, always take my daughter there on a rainy day so she can play and look at all the toys. They are a bit on the pricey side but they have an amazing and unique toy selection!
