So… read my initial review of this place. I’ll wait. Ok, so I purchased a pair of glasses somewhere else(umm…online) and they don’t fit perfectly. They come close, but no. THEN, I remember Glazier and how they offered to bend and shape frames to help them fit my big noggin, so I bring the pair in and wait my turn. I’m confronted by a female staffer this time and she has a look like she’s flustered. I explain that I bought the frames elsewhere and she rolled her eyes as I explained my purchase practises. Hey, I was more than willing to get a reprimand for doing so, half expecting a «These are the only eyes you’ll ever have!» kind of speech. I get it, I didn’t buy anything here beforehand, but the way I was actually handled wasn’t close to service with a smile. After a sigh and a huff, she takes the glasses from me and says«There is a chance these might break, ok?» Uhh, weren’t you guys the ones that offered to bend frames in the first place? Does that only apply to your superior quality products? Having paid less than $ 15(Thank you, Clearly Contacts!!), I said«Yeah, I’ll take that chance.» One more head shake, 5 mins behind the counter and she’s placing them on my face again. Much better. «How much do I owe you?» «$ 5.» All that commotion for $ 5?! I slapped a blue note in her hand, gave her a thank you and I’m off. Great work, but having me feel like I shit the bed isn’t the way to warm my cockles.
