This place is sometimes kinda messy. But it usually has everything I need. So I can’t really complain. Plus it’s right on the subway line so it’s very convenient. Might find cheaper stuff at the dollar store but if you need something of quality e.g. a mouse, etc. then better off coming here. Sales clerks are always helpful too.

I will admit, I was a little confused by the size of this Staples… that is, until I found the stairs to go up! It seems to me that the downstairs is geared more towards school supplies and the upstairs focuses more on office supplies. I found what I was looking for surprising fast and made my way back downstairs to the cash. I could be missing something but I only found two checkouts… regardless, there were no line-ups and I was out the door in a flash leaving me thinking… ‘Huh, that was easy!’

This is my go-to Staples location when I run out of ink for my printer or if I need shipping supplies for eBay. It is usually quiet in here, so there is never any lineups at the cash. Making this location even more convenient for me as i just need to pick up one item at a time and be on my way. I wouldn’t buy anything electronic from here as the staff may not be the most helpful however.

This Staples was mecca for me when I was in high school. As a nerd, I love office supply stores… walking through aisles of pens, paper, and organisational tools always leaves me inspired to write stories, take detailed notes, draw sketches…(until I walk out the door, of course.) With my nerd friends, we’d wander in here for hours, smelling sharpies(oops, did I say that out loud?), and spinning in wheely chairs. Like so many nostalgic things, returning to them just ruins them. Yes, this Staples is pretty centralised in terms of location… yes, it still has a wall of pens and pencils and markers… but it seems to be lacking in everything else. Printers, speaker systems, and laptops all seem to be understocked with weird options to choose from. Verdict: I’d only come here to buy stationery. For anything over $ 30, please go somewhere else. Protip: their 32gb iTouch is $ 320. Next door at Future Shop, it is $ 300.
