I often don’t give a single star but this place is pretty terrible. The chips are just crinkle cut bought from a store and the piece of cod I got was miniscule. The oil had obviously not been changed in a while. Essentially, don’t go.

Whomever gave this restaurant 5 stars must be friends or family of the owner. Do not eat here. For 20 dollars we got 2 very small pieces of fish and a small portion of ries. Before we ordered we asked if the fish was fresh… and were told it was fresh. Once we received our meal it was obvious that both the fish and fries had been frozen… maybe fresh means ‘freshly removed from freezer?’. When we complained we were told ‘halibut is expensive’. Have eaten cheaper and better fish and chips elsewhere.

Gross gross gross. Avoid this place in deep cove. Small portions, gross frozen crinkly cut fries and hair in 2 of my kids plates of fish n chips. When I go out for fish n chips I at least expect home made fries. Fish was ok. Interior very dingy, if you want water to drink they have pitcher of room temperature tap water.

For the price, very small portions whether fish and chips or burger and fries. Atmosphere was extremely low class especially putting your dirty dishes in a sink next to the garbage as instructed. won’t be back, not for the price that is charged here.

Expensive for what it is. Fries are very boring. Fish is okay, nothing special though. One thing I do quite like here is the chicken teriyaki burger.

The fish is perfect! I give it alone 5⁄5BUT the fries aren’t anything to get excited about. The wait was a bit long but it is a sunny summer weekend, so that is to be expected. However, this place is right next to a lovely park on the water. Take yours to-go and have a picnic. It makes for a great experience over all.

Expensive poor quality. Advertised as fresh the halibut was not. Minuscule portion of soggy coleslaw and frozen crappy chips. May be better in tourist season but don’t do winter. Uncomfortable interior, but lots of scenery in the neighbourhood.

Everything you want and more for a fish and chipper. The down side is it closes at 8pm during the height of the tourist season.

I LOVEHERE ! Especially HALIBUT ! Their fish and chips were awsome. They give such big pieces of fish. My friends and I ordered family pack #1 and #2 for to go. Trust me. We waited there only for twelve minutes. And it was 10pieces? 12 pieces? with chips. The waitress packed the food very quickly and gave it to us. We ate them under a big tree. The taste will not be forgotten. It was hot and very crispy :))))) we decided to go this fish and chips again.

While a group of friends tortured me with Honey Doughnuts -(that I can’t eat,) …droool… [sticks nose into bag, inhales deeply…] I went to check out the chips at Fish & Chips. Sad to report that the chips were a big bore. As the previous reviewer noted, not crispy enough. But I saw an order with Fish -(deep fried, no can do), and it looked so darn crispy and fresh and good. I really need to send my body back to the manufacturer for a refurb. STARVING here! ;-{

Deep Cove Fish and Chips provides a quick and reasonably priced fish and chips. The fish had a crispy dough, and the fish inside was moist. The fries could have been a bit crispier. Don’t sit in the restaurant. Order your food to go, walk across the street to the park, and enjoy a view of the mountains and cove that give Deep Cove its name.
