Acura North Shore

I currently live on Vancouver Island so I knew trying to find a vehicle on the lower mainland was going to take a lot of time, effort and trust. I was not looking forward to this task as I already had some bad luck but as soon as I received a quick response to my inquiry from the sales manager, I knew that my search would end at North Shore Acura. He was so informative and answered all of my questions that I just had to venture out to North Vancouver to check out the car and I did not regret it one bit! The vehicle was in great shape just as he said it was and the sales guy that took me out for a test drive knew the car inside and out. Once we started talking numbers, there were no games, no hidden fees. Very reassuring! It was a done deal! The overall experience and customer service at this dealership was like no other. It has a very warm and inviting environment. I would recommend North Shore Acura to anyone looking for a company that aims for great customer satisfaction.

Poor customer service and very unethical with their contracts for leasing. Should you want to buy out your car in the end beware that extra fees could be added even when your original contract doesn’t indicate those extra fees will be added. They said they just recently started in just a month before to charge for «an inspection fee». An extra over priced fee $ 600…just another money grab. I used to like Acura, until this point.

Hidden fees and vehicle not properly serviced.
Fees
When we arrived to pick up the car, 350 $ had been added to the price. We had dealt with a salesman, the sales manager, and the business manager. No one mentioned this fee. It wasn’t even mentioned when we came to pick up the car– I noticed the price was wrong and had to ask why. They did not remove the fee.
Vehicle service
We took the vehicle to another Honda dealership for routine service. The mechanics there told us the fluids had never been changed and that they should have been changed 2 years prior. They confirmed with Northshore Acura– indeed this had never been done.
When we bought the vehicle we were told it was properly serviced. Changing these fluids is part of Acura’s routine scheduled maintenance.
Would not go back.
Would not recommend.
