My husband is a big golfer. This winery was in his list to visit even before we were planning the niagara trip. Mike weir is a famous Canadian professional golfer on PGA tour and won the masters in 2003. He opened up this winery to help support his foundation supporting Canadian children in need.
Breathtaking vineyard views from the tasting room. Inside has a very modern and clean décor. Drinking a bottle while sitting on the deck looking down the valley all the way to Lake Ontario was very relaxing.
Staffs were friendly, tasting experience was relaxing. No reason to get rushed. Dry Riesling, Chardonnay were refreshing with moderate fruitiness. Price is reasonable.

Nice new tasting room and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Reislings are crisp; family estate merlot is complex for a single varietal.
The low alcohol white had a lot of character and would be excellent with spicy food like curry or chili (where a 12% wine would burn).
