A staple in NOTL and Canada! For years I have found their products in various speciality stores and shows but to come to the mother store is quite a treat!
Jams and jellies in every flavour you could want and believe me, they’re all delicious. Everything in this store is the very best in quality! They also carry various kitchen items and utensils. Definitely worth stopping in at if you’re in the area.

A definite stop every time I hit up NOTL. Back in the 90s, you had to come here to get the jam. Now you can get it everywhere! But it is a much better buying experience here, especially if you are getting gifts. They have very cute gift sets and you can choose your own adventure in the jam/marmalade/jelly department.
What is the best is that at the actually store they have EVERY TYPE OF EVERYTHING! If you want the best selection you have to go to the store. You won’t be disappointed. The one unfortunate thing is that the jam itself is available at other places in/around NOTL for less.

Another fixture on my tour of NOTL, we stopped in at Greaves for some jam.
As already mentioned, this stuff is readily available elsewhere, as well as online, but there’s really something to be said about this quaint little home base.
It’s a jam lover’s wet dream. Wall to wall jams, marmalades, syrups, spreads, jellies, and random condiments… and that’s it. No flash or annoyances, just an organized series of plain shelves and baskets. It’s almost like walking into a jam log cabin. The staffer was also very friendly, and the whole thing just gave off this ‘mom and pop’ vibe that no longer exists in our neck of the woods. I was very pleased.

Greaves Jams & Marmalades is a must visit store when you are down at Niagara-on-the-Lake.
This is great to support our Canadian home made products as Greaves uses the produces that was grown in the Niagara fruit belt and manufacture their products here too.
Of course, you can always order them online! But what is better than try before you buy! :) Or just try and not buy is ok too…
Though you can also get Greaves products in gourmet food stores all over the country, but it is so neat to browse around the original store (cute and pretty) that is here in Niagara-on-the Lake since 1927!
