NO Smoking room stunk like cigarettes. Terrible service to try to get towels. Which we never ended up even getting. Wifi didn’t work. COMPLETEWATSEOFMONEY. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money and stay in a nicer hotel or one of the gorgeous bed and breakfasts up the road and save yourself the misery of staying at this hotel.

The only good part about the hotel was there was no parking fees. As soon as we walked in, I saw the guy at the register was arguing with a customer about some late charges that she was charged for checking out late. I waited for over 15 minutes(no acknowledgement, nothing like I’ll right there with you sir) to get help. I had booked a queen non-smoking room. Upon arrival I was told that I’ll be charged extra if I want to check-in early. The front desk person told me that if I upgrade to a king-size room, there won’t be any additional charges. I played along and paid additional $ 25 for 2 nights for the king-size room. Let me tell you, there was nothing noticeable about the upgrade. We were given a room in the corner, but, the stairs to get to the room were NASTY! and I mean Nasty. They haven’t wiped the stairs in ages. There was food, bugs on the stairs. The room was clean but the bathroom not so much. They say free breakfast — don’t even bother. I think you’re better off not eating there. Staff — pretty rude. Definitely doesn’t know customer service. Probably need to take Customer service 101. I definitely regret staying here. I should’ve paid a little extra to stay at a decent place

Is there a way to put zero stars? Worst place EVER! Do not go here, also don’t book over . When I got to my room, the heat was off. The room was freezing and did not warm up enough for me to be able to take off my jacket till 4 hours later. There was a bird making noise and rustling around in the vent in our bathroom. There was no premium cable, or coffee maker. The«indoor pool» is only accessible by walking outside in the snow first. When I went to cancel my stay at the hotel early, they wouldn’t allow me to. Despite checking out early, they still charged me for the nights I wasn’t staying there. I contacted and despite everything that was wrong with the hotel, they allowed them to charge me even if I checked out. They admitted that they lied in their advertisement of the hotel and that it was wrong, but still charged me the nights I wasn’t staying there. Can’t believe this hotel is still in business!

This was definitely not the worst motel we stayed in on our 10 day vacation. The price was great compared to other places we stayed. The wi-fi worked well and the room was clean. The staff was not real friendly or helpful in giving us directions to find parking, etc. It is close to the falls and was convenient for us. I’d probably stay here again if I had to.

We really wanted to shower after our jet boat whirlpool ride so we were desperate to get a room. Paid $ 109 before taxes for a room that was definitely worth only $ 45 max! He told us that $ 109 is a good deal and that he’s only giving it to us due to a cancellation and showed us the charge paper for the person ahead of us who he charged $ 126. Ended up that the $ 126 was after taxes therefore our $ 109 became $ 126. Oh well we needed the room Bathroom was«ok». The shower curtains were dirty and probably never cleaned. The towels had stain on them. The clock didn’t work. The wifii was horrible, barely any signal. The breakfast food was three tpyes of cereal, some orange juice, and some coffee. The AC made a loud sound initially. The outlets for electricity didn’t work for us to charge our phone Overall, would never stay here again! I’d rather pay $ 150 and get a better hotel room.

I stayed here for one night in early-June, 2013. For those who are considering staying here, I would suggest you do so if you’ve been driving for 13 hours straight and your car is uninhabitable. Also, be sure to toss back 1 – 8 shots of whiskey so you pass out and spare yourself a sleepless night caused by thin walls and ceilings. The customer service and free wifi are both subpar. It’s a shame I can’t give this place 0.5 stars.

Sub-par customer service, quality of rooms over-all not horrible, and price was pretty decent. M’lady and I were staying at Super 8 using a group deal I had purchased last year which covered two nights. The cheapest daily rate I found online was very close to what I had paid for the voucher in question for the days we stayed there(last Friday and Saturday night), but that didn’t really bother us. Regardless, when we arrived at the front desk to check in, I could see someone using a microwave in the back and taking their time. There was a chime when the front door was opened, so it was assumed that that had grabbed the attendant’s attention. Eventually she came to the front and apologized. After checking us in, I had to ask about the details in respect to the breakfast, as we weren’t provided them. The room didn’t have the heating on when we arrived. It didn’t take long to determine that the heating wasn’t easy to operate, meaning that getting it to a comfortable temperature was rather tricky, as it seemed to either be on full heat or when turning the temperature down ever-so-slightly, it would get cold in the room. I eventually noticed that there was also a separate heater in the washroom under the sink. No matter how hot it got in the rest of the room, the washroom was always cold until turning the heater under the sink on. The wifi was a little bit slow, but I was happy that at least it worked. The complimentary breakfast was rather limited(there were only muffins and cereal to eat, and juice, coffee, and black tea to drink). I recently stayed at a Best Western in the States, where they had quite the nice variety for breakfast, so in comparison, I feel like this was rather bare. In fact, we ended up having breakfast elsewhere on the second morning, after going hungry very shortly after having finished breakfast on the first one. All-in-all, I ended up finding another motel in the area that was a little bit farther than the falls, but the nightly rate was cheaper and it had an indoor pool(and hot tub) which this one didn’t have. Considering I drive, the distance isn’t significant enough to make a diff, so I’d definitely choose the other one over this one if I was staying at the falls and didn’t have my group deal voucher.
