The Skyline Inn is a family favourite in the centre of the tourist district. History

Established in 1967.

The Skyline Inn began with humble beginnings. Opened in 1967 as the Village Inn, the hotel operated on the Maple Leaf Village complex for several decades before extensive renovations and renaming. The Skyline Inn established itself as one of the best hotels in the tourist district for families with the addition of a direct indoor skywalk to the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark in 2006.

The rooms were a little less than desirable. But management was superb about addressing the issues we had (no air conditioning & ants) and refunded us parking fees and a full night stay after our 3 nights there. Convenient location!!! Waterpark attached was fun & clean.

Stayed here recently with a waterpark package. Got a call right after my booking to let me know I could not book 2 nights because the waterpark would be closed on 3^rd day. Booked 2^nd night stay through separate site. Talked to them on phone about combing the 2 so I wouldn’t have to checkout after 1 day, and was advised she would put a note on my reservation. When I checked-in there was no note or anything, but they were able accommodate the request. All the staff we encountered was very nice.
This is a more family friendly hotel. But due to it being older, they could not have microwaves in the rooms. It is in a common area. So keep in mind if you have small babies and you need to heat up bottles. Movies in courtyard #2, and they put us in #4 upon request, which is furthest from the movies. We were there Sun-Tue, so it was not that busy, especially Monday night. The courtyard is kind of nice as you can go for a walk or just hang out. Did not encounter any issues with wifi.
Room was not that big, but pretty clean. There was some hair on the floor of the bathroom but other than that did not notice anything extremely dirty. Noticed my baby starting to get rash on his face due to the bedsheet. My older son was fine though. There are a number of cleaners cleaning up in the morning. They even cleaned the room doors, which I have never seen. We were bit surprised when we heard noises and thought someone was trying to come in lol.
The walkway to the park is another level up. If you have a big stroller or something, you need to use the separate chair-lift to get up there. Have to wait for someone to take you. For the price in the Falls, definitely a good deal and a decent hotel. But I wouldn’t say it is first on my list right now, just because my kids are a little small to really enjoy the place. Also have need for a microwave close to use. When/if they are older, for sure this would be the first place. With the park package it is a great deal.

It’s a great hotel rooms are decent the bath rooms are nice. It’s a cheap to stay there it is one of the nicest hotels in Niagara Falls. Clean and staff is very friendly.

Skyline is a 2.5÷3 star accommodation but gets 4 for exceeding our expectations. We stayed in March so it wasn’t busy.
We visited for the water park. Everything was clean, and convenient. Rooms and beds were ok.
We got a great deal for the room and water park.
We would definitely stay again.

March Break fun with lots of other families around. We booked 2 nights with the falls view water park package. Perfect for those of us tried of paying great wolf lodge prices. The kids had a movie in the courtyard @8pm and all was to be quiet after 10… Wish it was so… So we asked to be moved to a quiet court yard. We were the next day and loved the quiet.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great price, and very close to all the Niagara Falls attractions. Nothing very spectacular, your ordinary hotel that’s just clean enough. I’m very picky about hotel room cleanliness. It’s not visibly dirty but not sparkling clean either, it’s satisfactory. Would definitely recommend this hotel. And although I doubt I will be back in the area again for a long time, I would definitely stay again.

The front desk was super friendly and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the area and gave some suggestions on food. She even let us leave the car out front to unload all of our luggages.
Parking was easy. Maybe because it wasn’t as busy as over the summer as some have pointed out. It was literally on the same level as check-in. It was kept under cover and indoors. I left it there and didn’t need to move it for the 3 days we were there. Parking was $ 14/day. There was additional parking across from the hotel at a couple story parking garage, if needed.
The rooms are basic. We got 2 queen beds, TV, fridge. In wall soap pumps, coffee machine. The only downside was that the fan in the bathroom didn’t turn off. It was even louder when we turned the lights on. We just ended up shutting the door while we were in the room so it wouldn’t be as annoying.
The layout of the place was interesting with indoor courtyards in the middle where people can hang out. It stated that no one was to be in the courtyard between 10pm-7am but we saw people there drinking. But they were quiet. We heard kids one morning running outside. But nothing obnoxious.
WiFi was accessible in room and in courtyard. When everyone is in their rooms at night it can slow the WiFi down a lot. I had AT&T and was able to still receive US reception. So I flipped the WiFi on/off as needed, just in case.
Overall I’m glad I took the risk and booked here even though there was some iffy reviews. Everything was within walks distance, so convenient!
We did not go to the waterpark. We did not eat at the expensive Perkin’s (that everyone was talking about). We walked by and there wasn’t a single soul eating there… Haha!

Front desk staff are pleasant and allowed us to check in at noon.
Over all pretty clean place, right across the street from the casino, and very close to everything the falls have to offer. Nothing is more than tops a single mile walk.
Self parking at $ 12 a night.
Only down side — there are Lights outside the windows of the rooms which look into the courtyards — the light peaks in around the corners of the curtains

A great hotel for families. Super close to all the excitement of Clifton Hills. Front desk staff were super helpful. We loved the access to the waterpark from the hotel and the kids enjoyed the evening movie in the courtyard by our room. Yes, it is a bit of an older hotel, but everything is in fantastic condition so that didn’t bother me at all. The only thing that I didn’t like was how much $$ we spent on breakfast at the on-site Perkins restaurant… but that being said, all the restaurants in Niagara Falls seemed to cost way more than normal. I would totally recommend this location to families travelling to the area. Enjoy!

Got a groupon deal for this hotel to stay for one night. We arrived early and the front desk let us check in at 10am, very nice! The room was a standard double bed room, nothing special. There is so much to do in Niagara there is no point in spending a lot of money on a fancy room. We had to call maintenance twice for the smoke detector battery and shower not functioning. Maintenance main arrived within seconds of our phone call to the front desk. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and courteous.
This hotel is in a great location. Just blocks from everything that is going on. They have covered parking for $ 12.90 per day, including tax. Parking available under hotel and 7 story lot across from hotel.

Location and price were outstanding! It’s right across the street from Casino Niagara and there is a WeGo blue line bus stop right around the corner. Attached to indoor waterpark (we did not go to it because it was closed for remodeling) Room was very nice. Coffee maker and refrigerator, no microwave. Soap and shampoo were in wall hanging dispensers. Did not bother me. I would not recommend a room surrounding one of the courtyards unless you are partying with a large group. Our room had 2 queens and a bunkbed for the kids! The bunkbed is in a little area without a door. That area had its own TV, the kids loved it. The bathroom was small.

A lot of the reviews I’ve read here have been less than stellar but I have to disagree. Granted, it is not a swanky 5-star hotel but we have had a great experience so far. It is an older hotel and there are some things that let you know how old it is but everything I have seen has been well taken-care of, including painting, carpet cleaning etc.
Evan, at the front desk, has been flawless in helpfulness and demeanor. Everyone we have asked anything of has been terrific. It is attached to the Fallsview Waterpark via a skyway which is ideal.
Checkin/Checkout was painless.
One review mentioned the step into the bathroom. Yeah, that was a bit of an annoyance but our kids are 9 and 12 so that didn’t bug them.
My only recommendation to anyone at Skyline Inn that may read this is this: for the movie nights in the Courtyards, spend a couple hundred bucks and get a new projector that you can actually SEE when you do movie night. Otherwise thanks for hosting that.

We stayed here April ²¹⁄₂₂^nd on a Travelzoo voucher that included passes for the indoor waterpark, and «discounts» at Perkins and Massimo Capra’s Rainbow room.
The check-in lady was a pure joy, very friendly, and she went through all of the vouchers in our package
First when we booked the voucher a month in advance, the hotel was able to accommodate our request to have a room near some friends who were travelling with us. They gave us adjacent rooms on the first floor
As to the rooms everything was good. The rooms were clean, and everything was in as to be expected. The only thing we had an issue with was the washroom. You had to go up one step to the washroom, and my clumsy son and 2 yr old daughter kept stubbing toes or falling off the step.
The other problem is that the building uses radiant heat. At nighttime you will hear a lot of noise, as if someone is running the water on and off all throughout the night. It was an inconvenience for me, but for the family we were travelling with it messed up the parents sleep.
We really only used the hotel to sleep in, so it served its purpose. We would definitely book this hotel again.

This hotel is reasonable clean and decently priced, hence, not fancy at all. We had a package deal from Travelzoo that also included an indoor waterpark. Breakfast is not included and Perkins restaurant close by is quite pricey. Overall, the our stay at this hotel was ok, no complaints. The noise was not an issue for us, our courtyard was pretty quiet. This hotel is pretty convenient as it’s within a walking distance to the falls and Clifton Hill. It means you can just park at the hotel and not use your car unless you plan to drive somewhere far. In addition, hotel’s parking has in/out privileges, which is a nice gesture since we drove to dinner outside of Niagara Falls and had a much better experience than dining right at the falls.

Very family oriented. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Perkins restaurant right downstairs however not recommended. Parkings spots are tight in the additional parking but if you sign up for a casino card ad play a minimum of $ 30 you get free parking at the adjacent parking garage. There’s a direct connection to the indoor water park. The hotel has courtyards for the kids to run free and have a movie night on a projection screen for the kids in one of the courtyards every night at 8pm
The negatives, you can hear almost everything, people turning on the water, and people walking. The room air conditioner is loud as well. Television is old school tube and needs to be upgraded with the times. Free wifi available no direct Ethernet.connection. Wifi for me took awhile to connect but it does work, even outside.
Overall not bad considering how close everything is to you.

A very good and affordable hotel for families. Mid-week waterpark package was $ 129+tax + parking, and it included admission to the waterpark for 4 people for 2 days (2^nd day until 3pm, but no one makes you leave the waterpark, you are just unable to get in after 3pm).
The rooms are oldish, but clean. They have 5 people occupancy, which is nice for those of us with 3 children. And apparently they now have rooms with bunk beds, again, great for those with 3 kids who are older.
The service was very good. The hotel is 2 or 3 stories high, and behind other hotels and a high parking deck with the waterpark on the top. DO NOT EXPECT FALLS VIEWS.
Connected to the Fallsview waterpark by a skywalk (great in winter as there’s no need to go outside).
Cheap parking for Niagara Falls ($ 9/night — this means the day you arrive, and the next day too, if you’re staying for 1 night only).
Close enough to Clifton Hill (which may or may not be a plus, but is not bad for kids), but far enough to be quiet.
They have indoor courtyards, which, again, are amazing in cold weather, as the kiddos have a place to run around without having to get their snowsuits on.
They have family movie night (s). Thursday night they set up a movie in Courtyard 2, with free popcorn for everyone. The kids were all outside in their PJs, with blankets and pillows on the floor. Very nice.
For those who enjoy casinos, Casino Niagara (the older casino in Niagara Falls) is just across a small road, so one parent can stay with the kids, and the other can go play.
The Falls themselves are about a mile away. Walkable, but this is definitely not the closest hotel.
I would definitely recommend this for those who are looking for a get away, especially involving the waterpark and especially during the off-season.
