Here for the FCM2014 conference and the place is very nice. Clean, friendly and helpfull staff but the only down fall is the catering. The food was bland abd when we had sandwish for lunch it was 99%bread. But overall a nuce place for a large group.

I work here often. The venue is always clean and bright! I am working at the Niagara Food and Wine Expo right now. Many great vendors! I always find good food at this show!

This was a nice convention center. It’s a bit smaller than most I’ve been to but it worked for the time being. The main arena was huge and had great acoustics. The theatre next door was about ¼ the size and a bit of a tight squeeze. The staff was average. I met a few people who were friendly and then a couple who clearly hated their job and hated life as a whole. The food they served to those of us there for the event was ok. Definitely a bit too heavy on the carb side. You’d think for a cheerleading competition they’d serve salad or something light not pizza and pasta. Luckily there were restaurants around the convention center that we were able to grab food at. We were told there was internet available but that was a fail. None of us were able to connect. We had the facilities IT manager reset the router multiple times but he said their internet was only build to hold a small group of people to connect. Explain to me why a convention center that holds thousands of people at a time only allots internet that will connect a handful of people here and there!!! Weird. This was an ok facility. It was one block from the overlooking falls view which was nice for breaks. But I feel they have a few tweets here and there that they can make within the staff and the food.

This was a nice little conference center. I came here twice; once for the Niagara Falls Food & Wine Expo, and then for the Canadian Institute of Food Science & Technology Conference, both on the same weekend, but different uses of the venue. It really is a beautiful space for a conference center, and is not too big that you would get lost in it. And it’s very close to several hotels. My only qualm was that the catering wasn’t the greatest, especially for vegetarians. One lunch we were provided with was a «greek-style salad» with a chicken souvlaki skewer. The vegetarian option was the salad with no skewer. And the salad itself was the size of a typical side salad. That was very disappointing. However, the banquet dinner we had was pretty good — vegetable moussaka.
