Radisson Hotel & Suites Fallsview

My boyfriend and I spent a night over long weekend at the Radisson Fallsview and enjoyed the entire stay; we actually stayed in our room majority of the time as the weather wasn’t the best.
Check in and Check out was smooth; arrived at 4pm and room was ready as promised; even was offered a late checkout!
We had a corner king suite on the 6^th floor. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. The view and closeness to the falls was great. The parking was super convenient for the same cost of self serve parking we got perks of using valet parking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone; for the price; its even nicer than some of the bigger chain hotels in area– The WiFi worked great and was a bonus! The only negative (and it isn’t Radisson’s fault) was the noisy slamming of other rooms; all room doors slams loud and when people are coming in late it can startle you–
will return again!

Did a one night staycation here when we had an out of town guest to entertain.
The hotel is not particularly upscale and the room while it had a view of the falls was obstructed by the Marriott Hotel across the street.
We did have a view of the falls but it was barely…
The service staff were friendly and accommodating but the next time I will stay at the Marriott for the view…

This was a decent hotel, with some caveats. The room itself was nice, modern, plenty of space, with a fridge/​microwave. The sleep number bed didn’t wow me, but maybe I don’t know how to use it? There were no instructions given, and the numbers kept resetting when I tried to adjust. The free wifi worked well; the front desk said I’d need to log in, but it worked just fine without prompting me for a login. The hot tub in the bathroom worked, though I had to figure out to reset the switch on the wall (which wasn’t labelled), and then I had to remember to press the switch again, otherwise the jets turned on whenever I flipped the light switch. The tub itself is larger than a standard hotel tub, so it was easy to lay back and relax.
You can’t beat the location. It’s a 5 minute walk to the incline down to the falls and all the other touristy stuff.
The view of Horseshoe Falls from the room is good, as you can see from several photos posted here, but you will have an obstructed view (notice the building barely visible to the left in the photos). It’s still breathtaking, but if you’re hoping to see the whole vista, or enjoy the light show at night, don’t stay at this hotel.
Parking was very confusing. The hotel issues you a pass, but you have to wait for the «valet» standing outside to move the orange cone blocking the lot. To exit, you have to enter a code to get the arm to raise up, but the hotel doesn’t make clear what that code is. It’s written on the pass they give you, but not marked. I ended up getting my friend to lift the gate while I drove out, since we couldn’t figure it out.
You get $ 10 off at the Tony Roma’s and a discounted breakfast buffet (it was still $ 11 if I remember correctly). Based on the Unilocal reviews and the disappointed guests I overheard in the lobby, I passed on Tony Roma’s.

Creaky bed. In spite of this bed being a sleep number bed, it wasn’t as comfortable. I have one at home which is way more comfortable, maybe because of the mattress topper.
Bathroom was well equipped though. Nice two-​sided magnifying mirror for makeup application. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Hair dryer died after a few minutes.
Nice convenient open parking right outside the hotel. No need to valet and pay an attendant for your car.
Free WiFi which is a fantastic perk. Coupon for $ 10 from Tony Roma’s. One free bottled water.
Even though they charge $ 19 per day for parking, it’s still the lowest in the area.
I would recommend this hotel.

The staff (except for one surly front desk clerk) were very friendly, & the falls were amazing. I wish we could have seen them through a clean window. We also had a dirty pillow case, a torn duvet a sleep number bed that didn’t work. They used flat sheets instead of fitted, so they came untucked all the time & we were laying on the mattress cover. Small room that was labeled a“suite.” Seems like a good value until they tack on the $ 20 per night parking fee.

I don’t know how this hotel got to the top 7 hotels in niagara. Heck, I wouldnt even classify this as a hotel, it should be categorized as a high class inn if anything. The swimming pool is mediocre and doesn’t include a hottub. It merely has jets at one corner of the pool. I had requested for a higher floor but was placed on the third floor with the lovely view of the parking lot. The valet parker was inexperienced as he did not know how the newer cars worked with the electronic car keys. He said he couldnt move the car cause we didnt give him the key… I think I’ll stick with booking a room with the more well known hotels next time.

Sleep number bed was not working. bath tub was very old and not stable, «fall-​view» room was blocked half by another building. Room smells. Only thing good was the front desk was nice.

Love this hotel, just came back for my 3^rd stay last weekend. Fantastic view on the top floor of the falls. Very close to casino and restaurants but a bit pulled back so the location is nice and quiet at night. Will be back again for our next trip to the falls!

Excellent, super friendly, very accomodating. Exchaned rooms when thermostat failed. Very fast. Great views. Great Hotel, Great for Groups as well. Will be back.

Stayed here for a couple nights and had a good experience. The front desk was very helpful and suggested multiple things to do/​places to eat while there. Clean hotel and had a great view of the falls. Location wise, this hotel is right on the edge of all the action and is easy walking distance to the casino and tons of restaurants. I would stay here again

Had an absolute blast this weekend with my Fiancée. We were able to check in early and had a great view of the falls from our room. The hotel had a jacuzzi tub and the jets really helped me relax the next day.
I would definitely go again in a heart beat.

My family stayed here on a trip to Niagara Falls this summer. We had a suite room, without a view of the falls. The price was reasonable. much less than other hotels in the area. The hotel is within walking distance of the falls, especially if you take advantage of the inclined railway.
The room we had was spacious and well equipped. The room appeared a bit dated, and had a bit of a musty smell. Still, it was comfortable overall. Not great, but comfortable.
The service we received was quite good. There were parking attendants that greeted us upon entering the parking lot, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

L’hôtel nous a laissé un souvenir inoubliable au 6ème étage avec une vue imprenable sur les chutes du Niagara. ¨Pour fêter nos fiançailles, nous avions réservé la suite avec jacuzzi d’où l’on pouvait voir les chutes. Toute la chambre était spacieuse et baignait dans la lumière grâce à une baie vitrée qui fait toute la chambre. Bref, une nuit sous les nuages avec une vue très romantique.
Le reste des services de l’hôtel était super: piscine, toilettes, grand hall, parking surveillé et fermé.
Je met cependant un bémol au restaurant qui nous avait été conseillé et qui se trouve juste à droite de l’hôtel en sortant; mais c’est bien parce que je suis français et que j’aime la bonne cuisine. Il n’y a en effet pas de restaurant dans cet hôtel.

Great value and location. The room was much larger than expected, and we had a view of the falls, although it was partially obstructed by the hotel across the street. The room was clean, housekeeping did a great job of keeping the place neat, and
The location is great. It was about a 15 minute walk to the Maid of the Mist tour, and similar time to the Clifton Hills area that is full of attractions. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and had tons of suggestions and maps for places to go and best routes to get there (driving and walking alike). Parking was a bit of a pain, and please note — you will be charged $ 20/​day for parking. We didn’t notice this on the website when we booked the room, and we were a bit surprised with the $ 60+ charge on our bill when we checked out.
Some other reviewers mentioned shoddy furniture and slow elevators; I didn’t experience either of these issues so they may have paid attention and resolved them.
A few notes: there is no hot tub at this location. The «whirlpool» is attached to the pool and is the same chilly temperature. The showers in the pool area were nearly impossible to bring to anything but a frigid temperature. The jets in our room’s tub didn’t work when we arrived. We called down and were recommended to reset the GFI switches, which didn’t help. Maintenance came the next day and fixed it. I used the hot tub with a nice glass of wine, but the button stuck in the down position. I notified them as I checked out, but this was an unacceptable maintenance issue. The hotel management comped us our parking in exchange for this inconvenience, which was nice.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its view of the falls and reasonable price compared to some others in the area, and for great proximity to everything one would want to visit in the area.

Had a great experience there this past weekend. It was myself, girlfriend and 3 year old. I found them to be a bit cheaper than other hotels in the area with similar star rating. They also accept AAA discount. The location is excellent. It is about 2 blocks away from the inclined rail system that takes you down to the falls at $ 2.50 per ride. You can buy a round trip for $ 5.00 or full day pass for $ 6.00 which is your best bet because you probably want to see the falls both int he day and the night once it has lit up. (Lighting was at 8:30PM) The hotel was very clean, and has all the amenities you would need such as a conference area, a gym and a pool. The rooms were great. The staff were great and very helpful an knowledgeable about the area. The valet was great as well. We were actually upgraded to the 1 king suite. A true king sized bed with a 37″ (or so) flat screen in the bedroom, a 40″+ TV in the living area with a pull out sofabed, a full sized desk, a kitchenette complete with mini fridge and microwave and an excellent bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub. The jacuzzi controls were right on top and get this… the tub is self drying?! About 10 minutes or so after showering, I noticed noise coming from the tub, I went in to inspect and noticed that the jets automatically came on for a few minutes. Please feel free to correct me if the purpose for this isn’t for drying, but it was the only logical conclusion I could come up with. Water pressure was great. People/​service were more than helpful. $ 20 a day for parking but its not too bad considering that most hotels charge anywhere from $ 15 – 20 and if you were parking at the falls itself, the rates range from $ 5 to $ 15. The casino was a few blocks away. Not too many grab and go food options in the area, mostly restaurants. Overall an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the falls.

Great place to stay. Rooms were clean and nice size with sitting area and a mini fridge. Convenient location with view of horseshoe falls. Gord the bellman was Awesome. He was so helpful. Only negative was the $ 20 a day parking.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in room 1339, I believe, and it was a pretty nice view of the falls. It was a whirlpool suite, and the whirlpool was awesome! I was disappointed because when in the whirlpool, you can’t see the falls, but that wasn’t too terrible. The air conditioning was something to be desired. The hallways were scorching, but the room was lovely… except when it was time for bed. Unfortunately, the air blew directly into my face because I was closest to it. It was so bad, I had to turn the air off, but then it became horribly hot, so I turned it back on. I was up and down all night fixing the air. However, I finally figured out that if I put our giant suitcase on the rack, then put that in front of the air, it was perfect. I’m sad I figured that out too late, but happy to know for next time!

Hotel was nice, clean and renovated. We had a city view room that suited us just fine. Was very disappointed to see that it didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave like pictures and room description suggested.
Lack of star is because of valet. We were told when we handed our car over to call down 15 minutes prior to needing our car so it would be ready. The day of our departure we called down at 10am, arrived at the lobby at 1030, and waited 10 minutes,…no car. When I approached someone with my ticket I was told to bring it inside to the front desk, where I saw my keys hanging on a hook still. 30 minutes later (an hour + total) our car arrived. Bad customer service.

Nice room, clean, had a good view (hence the name).

I enjoyed staying here. We actually wanted a room at the Hilton but got to the falls pretty late so they were full, Radisson was last resort that wasnt a sketch cheap hotel.
Very clean, high powered AC. Large flat screen in living room and bedroom. The layout was like a one bedroom apartment. Lots of walking around space, quiet hotel. The TVs sucked and didn’t work properly, called 3 different guys to come up and help and didn’t bother to offer anything to make up for it either. The bathroom was surprisingly large which I enjoyed spending time in taking a bath haha.

After coming from the Hilton in Toronto, the Radisson was a little bit of a letdown. We rolled into town a little before noon and were told our room would be ready by 4:00, so we did all the things one does in Niagara Falls.
We stopped back again at 4 and our room still wasn’t ready, but they decided to upgrade us to a suite (sweet!) The room actually was quite large, with a large bathroom, sitting area, kitchenette and decent sized bedroom. What I couldn’t get over was the shabby bedspread and furniture. It just looked really worn out and dated. Fortunately, it was for only one night.
The other cons I found was that when we turned on the A/​C for a little air circulation, there was some kind of crazy stink coming out of the vent that really didn’t abate all night. And we had a terrible view of the parking lot on one side of the hotel. I had really hoped for a Fallsview room, and requested one, as it was our honeymoon… oh well.
The pros were the size, cleanliness and proximity to the Horseshoe Falls.
If you’re looking for a bargain room, come to the Radisson. If you can shell out a bit more or are staying for more than one night, it might be worth investigating other options.
