My boyfriend and I stopped here for a drink to take a break from the crazy Niagara Falls attractions. The bartender could definitely use some people skills… The service was so slow we almost left before the bartender got to us, and it really wasn’t busy in the middle of the afternoon. And they didn’t have a drink menu :(booooo. I wasn’t too impressed… Which is too bad because the décor was pretty cool looking. Therefore I don’t really recommend this place, there are way more resto/bars in the area that treat their customers much better. So definitely skip this one…

I came here Thursday night around 11pm and it was dead. There were a few men inside having drinks. The bartender was not very attentive. She sat down in the corner and played on her phone for quite sometime before she noticed we needed another drink. After we had her attention we had another drink and settled up so we could leave right away. On Friday night we took a walk to see if any of the bars had a decent scene and everything was dead again at 11pm. We stopped inside Jack’s again and there were again, just a few guys hanging out having drinks at the bar. The bar staff was congregated behind the bar and talking. We ordered a drink a few minutes later and kept the tab open. This was a big mistake because it literally took 20 minutes to get someone to come over to ask if we needed another drink. There were at least 4 or 5 bartenders on just looking at their phones or talking to each other and there were only about 6 other people in the bar so there was no excuse. I would not recommend this place and will not be back. We should have learned our lesson the first night but wanted to give them a second chance.

Stopped by with my family on a slow night for a couple of beers. Staff was very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.

After some disappointing drinks and a lack of atmosphere at Spicy Olive, we walked until we found something, anything, remotely lively looking. There were three guys standing at the door of Jack’s Cantina. «Bouncers? Oh this must be hoppin’!» I thought to myself. «Cantina? Ooh, margaritas, maybe even a piña colada!» I thought to myself. «Loud music? Neon lights? I don’t even care if there are bros hanging out here. At least there’s some action, right?» WRONG. WRONG. WRONG. Jack’s Cantina, like Spicy Olive, was empty on a Friday night. Well, we were already here, so we sat at the bar(maybe two other patrons here?) and ordered two«Florida Track Suit» shots. I don’t remember what was in them, maybe some Bacardi O and Red Bull? I definitely did not need Red Bull to get me through the night — I was wide awake and found Niagara’s bar scene to be a downright snoozefest. Our bartender was friendly enough, but they all seemed more interested in playing on their phones. We paid for our shots and left.
