Blue Moon Motel

I stayed at this motel the weekend just before school started in September. I wanted something very convenient to the water park. This was opposite, so we just walked to the water park. My room had a kitchen attached, so although we didn’t cook there, we did use the fridge to store our drinks. I found the building itself quite old, but very clean. The sheets were fresh and clean. The couple that own the place are young ppl, very nice and helpful. The space around is nice. We sat outside as we had our pizza dinner and also at breakfast time, because the space where the food is served gets quite crowded. There is a place for kids to play with a gym set. The motel and almost all motels on the street were sold out that weekend. I got the room for $ 100 a night, but apparently you can get it as low as $ 35. I am not a motel person so would likely not stay here again, unless it were for the matter of convenience.

Very friendly service. They have a very nice outside and BBQ area. The heated swimming pool also looked very well kept. The owner gives you complimentary breakfast in the morning starting around 7:30. Danishes, toast, hard boiled eggs, cookies, cereals, milk, juice, coffee and tea. The rooms were very clean and provided cable and wifi. Overall you can’t beat the price for great service and modest rooms.
