Arkona Motel

Good thing about this place– the price to stay there and the housekeeper who made your beds nice and give you extra towels.
Bad thing– the condition of the room is poor and not high quality, carpet is dark and ok, the TV doesn’t work well, no cable, controller buttons not working, had to manually changing and looking for channels to watch (not very happy here!), small refrigerator doesn’t work well either/​not cold enough, missing light bulb at vanity sink, light bulb in bathroom died the 2^nd night therefore switched with the lamp light bulb, hot and cold water don’t mix well when taking a shower (overall, ok here), swimming pool outside not inviting with strict rules, and too noisy with AC on and can hear loud noises from the other rooms when the shower is turned on, and lastly, the on-​going noise of the toilet that sounds like a «monster» with water recycling with slushy noise that door had to be closed to minimize the noise, overall, slept well and a fair place for less-​expensive price; if you can bear with this type of condition, then not a bad place to stay awhile. Oh, wi-​fi could be better too, and the microwave was put into the room on the last day of our stay there (where was it before?) hmm.

Was here over last summer for a small break at Niagra. Prices are jaw droppingly cheap if you get a good deal from
. I was here for almost a week and paid less then 180. The staff was nice and the house keeping service up to par. They have breakfast on house from 7 – 10 I believe with some crackers, cookies, milk, coffee, tea and toasts. It was okay to munch on in the morning. Overall if you want to save on a few in hotel and planning to stay out and do more activites out I really suggest this place
