We stopped by on a tour of the island. the shop specializes in gouda cheese and bread. We were surprised to see they also make pizza in the same building as this wasn’t listed in the tour book. As a cheese shop we were expecting to sample a variety of the specialty cheeses they prepare or see the it being made. Very small samples of the plain and pizza gouda were available but that’s all — no explanation of their products or explanation of how their made There was a room in the back where the cheese was stored and displayed but we didn’t see anyone actually making the product. We did purchase a baguette for dinner and realized at mealtime it was under-​cooked, chewy, and doughy.
