My friend Joe decided to take up running in a big way — not just jogging to lose the beer gut, but to run marathons. One day, while Joe and I were out shopping, he stopped at the Running Room to see if some sort of running watch was in stock. I went in with him and was blown away. Running Room isn’t just a store it is the centre of a runner’s life. Everyone who works there and shops there is a runner. And, they sell only legit running stuff. It is not some general purpose sports store. While we were there, a group of people where gathered in chairs having some sort of running clinic with some running specialist woman. It was so cool to see a store fully support its scene like that. Joe bought all his running supplies at the Running Room, trained with people he met there, and even got lots of running advice and a training schedule from the pros who work there. If you are thinking of running a marathon, do yourself a favour and stop by the Running Room first.
