This used to be our favourite sushi place, however my husband and I have found it has really gone downhill. We took a break from it, and came back for lunch today to give it one more try, and were once again disappointed! I doubt we will be going back.

This was pretty decent for delivery sushi. Problem? The tempura and miso soup was super hot and so my sushi got pretty warm, which I don’t like. I got the avocado roll, california roll as well and they were pretty fresh and yummy after they cooled down. I want to go try the restaurant, because I feel like I can’t really judge them on takeout only. Maybe Vancouver ruined Ottawa sushi for me?

My first experience getting takeout from here was pretty good — the sushi was relatively fresh and the dynamite rolls were good. I was impressed, but need to try more variety to be sure!

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend last week and was very surprised. It is located in a very plain, old strip mall on merivale. The second you walk in, I realized it is something unique for it’s location. From the modern interior, to the ambient music, you feel like you are in a sheek new concept downtown restaurant…
The service was prompt and the food fresh. The sushi I had was well rolled and fresh. My chicken noodle dish was priced well and a decent portion.
I recommend visiting the restaurant and see for yourself…
